She telling them she's a cop like she's telling them who killed JFK made me simultaneously want to laugh and puke. Zero self-awareness and totally delusional. I wonder if casting knows they are casting someone everyone in America is going to hate or if it's a surprise to them. I would have put my money on Indy, and if she lasts long enough, I think America will eventually see how awful she is. Nicole has to be one of the most unlikable people they've ever cast, though that's probably a bit of recency bias. They have had some losers on here, but she has to be in the running for the Mount Rushmore.

I guarantee those two think they are ones that look good to the viewers and Taylor looks like shit. They are in for a shock when they get out of the house. That's kind of an annual thing these past several seasons.
  3. Don't you hate when posters do that?
  4. Pretty crazy "coincidence" how some of those teams ended up. Tyson with the one person who was pissed off at him. Cinco-Cash. Xavier and Azah, who seem to have a bit a problem with each other. If I'm that Amazing Race team, I'm wondering if the producers have it out for me. They threw them together as a sacrificial lamb to be picked by the winners. Turns out, they sucked so bad it didn't matter.
  5. Nope. I consider it a victory that I made it to the end of the trailer. That will be my one and only experience with this film.
  6. Meh. Oscars are fun and all, but do Paul Newman and see how long it takes to get to Color of Money. Paul Newman Best: Hud. I mean The Verdict. No wait, Cool Hand Luke. Worst: Nothing, because he was perfection. Or it was probably something early in his career.
  7. Wow, did I ever whiff on that. I need to put my fucking phone away when I watch TV.
  8. Ok, I found a recap online and I got it now. Doesn't really look like they explained the how of it. Just the end result of the IRA dumping the three bodies on his driveway. Now I am going to rewatch it just to see how I whiffed on this.
  9. I pretty much figured that unless I missed something in the final scene of the previous scene. Did they explain how the IRA got her? She was nowhere near the theater, so how did they get to her? Sorry for all the questions but this has been bugging me since episode 2. I could go back and watch episode 1, but I figured someone here could enlighten me.
  10. No that's an entirely different season that CBS is putting on featuring reality "stars" from CBS shows. TJ is hosting both and we get extra Challenge, so I'm here for it.
  11. Did that happen on screen or off? I remember Aberama getting killed at the theater, but when did they get Polly? She wasn't even there, was she?
  12. How did they explain Polly's death? I don't think that's a spoiler since she died in real life. Any anyone dumb enough to enter a thread without watching the season first is kind of asking for it.
  13. It’s impossible for any 10 year period to be 100% garbage, but that list kind of proves my point. If that’s the cream of the crop, it’s pretty weak.
  14. I don’t get Citizen Kane either. Anyone looking to start their film nerd quest should just spend the first year concentrating on 1966-1975. Greatest 10 year span of filmmaking in history and I have a hard time finding a 10 year period that even comes close. It pretty much starts with the rise of the film auteur and ends with the blockbuster era. Fucking Jaws. Though I love Jaws, it pretty much ushered in a new era of movie making. Maybe the 90’s thanks to QT, but it really isn’t that close. The 80’s were a steaming pile of shit, but compared to the past 20 years, the 80’s almost feel like a golden era.
  15. Just finished this. I'm a huge Godfather fan, so of course, I loved it. Casting was amazing. Goode -give him all the awards now. Juno Temple was delightful as always and I liked Colin Hanks character getting a redemption arc. And the guy who played Charlie was great. I don't know where that guy came from, but I love him in everything I see him in. But, the most amazing feat of all- somehow they made me like Miles Teller. A++++. Would watch again, but gotta watch Jeff Bridges fuck some folks up first as a 70 year old geezer.
  16. Jesus this is hard to watch
  17. There’s no dormies in this
  18. Did the announcer just say God dammit?
  19. Good luck against Vandy (?). Got your hands full no matter who you get next.
  20. I take all that back! Reverse jinx Nome! Reverse jinx Nome!
  21. Dude, that ship sailed about an hour ago. As UT fans, you're obligated to not celebrate early. As a realist, I can tell you the truth. My prediction turned out to be (checks notes), 100% correct. I follow our golf teams extremely closely. I know what we have and what we don't have. Good luck in your next match. You're gonna need it because there are no freebies from this point on.
  22. https://results.golfstat.com/public/leaderboards/gsnav.cfm?pg=match&tid=25468 You can follow it here, but not much to see. If ESPN did a win probability, it would be about 98% UT wins.
  23. Still feels like an unclimbable mountain from this side. I'm pretty sure you're good. Total meltdown would be fine with me though.
  24. But really probably closer to what our seed is. We are NOT #2. Closer to a 7 or 8.
