  1. What did the genocide river to the sea map look like on June 4 1967?
  2. When I see stuff like that posted here, I think about the type of propaganda artist that would post that here and think it was informative to consideration of the positions being taken by the posters here. Really makes you wonder…
  3. This is alt-universe bin Laden logic. Congrats.
  4. As opposed to quality content like “it’s really hard to distinguish palestinians generally from terrorists.”
  5. This is fucking amazing. Fuck right off DDD.
  6. Hamas was founded by a man whose formative childhood experience was the ethnic cleansing of and expulsion from his village to a Gaza refugee camp. His village was cleansed by a Haganah/IDF brigade that made its way through the region raping and massacring its inhabitants as it pushed them out. You look at the pictures of all these palestinian kids...eight, nine, ten years old... literally convulsing in fear, brains soaked in cortisol and adrenaline, brutally traumatized both psychologically and physically, motherless and fatherless. Well, you are looking at the origin story of the next Ahmed Yassin. And the same goes the other way, the Israeli people are scarred by actions of Oct 7. Around and around we go.
  7. It's also a phrase straight out of the early Likud party platform.
  8. You are talking to a poster that kept clamoring about the "Rule of Law" in the context of illegal Israeli settlements and occupation. I'd say it started with ridiculous straight off the bat.
  9. A piece put out this week by a sociologist and genocide scholar. You might find it interesting. Just the closing paragraph below, but the article is worth a quick read in whole. https://newlinesmag.com/spotlight/the-uses-and-abuses-of-the-term-genocide-in-gaza/ “Genocide” is generally under-deployed because states wish to avoid the responsibilities to “prevent and punish” that the convention imposes on signatories, but there is a special aversion to investigating its implications for Israel’s conduct. Western states continue to protect it out of a misplaced belief that Jews, having been prime historical victims of genocide, cannot also be its perpetrators. Israel’s current policies are rapidly destroying that conceit, however, and bringing closer the day when its leaders — as well as those of Hamas — will be brought to account for their crimes.
  10. You seem like the type to use a rUsSiaN SpELlInG oF zeLeNsKiY so you are on the list buddy.
  11. You've been part of the political discussion on these boards since what, late 2020? I am unsurprised that you feel secure in making an assessment of anything given that window. Matches up well with the short attention span expectation.
  12. Well that is of course false, but totally unexpected type of rhetoric from a state department talking head. You got a drum you beat it, even and esp when it is nonsensical. Regurgitate some more talking points for us Ned Jr.
  13. nORtHeAsT Of inDiA aNd uP FRoM tHe GUlF! dEy dON't ExiST. Jesus Christ, speaking of disinformation. Or maybe just poor geography skills.
  14. Thought about hitting Haby's on the way out and bringing something home for the offspring, but them I was like "fuck dem kids." Didn't hit Dziuks, but here is some fare on the back of the tailgate from last time I drove out there with my old man. Extremely nice set up, converted from Dan's meat market that had been shuttered for a long time. Full bar outside. Everything was good, no complaints I will megaphone, but probably not their top shelf, full potential output that time of day. I hope that they do well. I've never been to 2Ms so cannot compare. I would not call this mexi-que. I did ask them if they were going to do an Alsatian sausage and they said they were working on a recipe. Looks like they got a lot sunk into this place. I was there around 6PM, they had everything on the menu available, and there were maybe 5 families that cycled through while I was there. I really really hope that this place succeeds because it is very convenient to where I hunt and far surpasses the other options in close proximity. Unless we are talking nachos at Coras which is basically heaven.
  15. Filling the feeders and checking the cameras. This is the land of my people.
  16. Blu Lacy in castroville, 3 meat plate.
  17. I am not sure that it would, but why should we throw any data point out, esp a contemporary one?
  18. That's fine, but I disagree. I think that understanding the motives behind mass shootings is one important part of developing and implementing realistic and outcomes-oriented solutions.
  19. And that was fed by refusal to release the "manifesto". There is nothing I see there that should have been hidden from the public. Maybe there is some other material that warrants, but that does not.
