  1. Lol. This dude has completely jumped the Shark!
  2. Because people already WANT to hate. There is a pile of sticks already smoldering, all you have to do is pour a little gasoline on it. We've spent this country's history telling a segment of the constituents that these other people that don't look like you are lesser than you and that's why they need to live and go to school over there. They are less intelligent, and uncivilized. Your violence is okay. You had to exterminate all the Native Americans because they were savages. Black people needed to be kept in place or else they would rape all our women. Take the Mahendra Patel incident. If that happened in an era with no store video he would go to prison for years, even though dude is a well educated engineer and owns multiple properties in the community. All it took was for some white lady to accuse him of doing something and he is sitting in jail for 45 days, evidence to the contrary. This country is falling behind other industrialized nations precisely because of the above. We cannot allow socialized medicine because some undeserving brown person might take advantage of it. Don't believe me? Let's look at Mississippi. It is no coincidence that the brownest state in the union is also the worst. Cannot allow investment in infrastructure or make any efforts to bring any industry. Their efforts to keep the status quo have prevented any growth. Wallowing in shit since the 1870's.
  3. Make no mistake I was early on Sark being a solid coach. My point is the revisionist history. Same thing with Sam. He played his ass off vs LSU, but people forget those ugly games. 2019 OU, TCU, and Baylor come to mind. All the years Sark has been here we have had a history of taking our foot off the gas pedal once we got a lead. This was just as much a problem before Quinn as it was during his time here. FWIW it's always a huge debate.
  4. Just a few years ago these same people were yelling Seven Win Steve and talking about how he would never win here and didn't develop players at his previous stops as a head coach. Now all the sudden Tyrone Swoopes would've been 14-0 with this team, and that same Seven Win Steve is the greatest developer of talent in the country. Lol. Never quit Surly.
  5. Ever go to someone's house and see they have a welcome mat in front of the back door? Makes you wonder. [Freud}
  6. Phil Simms, Tom Brady, Brad Johnson, Matt Cassell, Justin Herbert, Aaron Rodgers, Rich Gannon, Dave Krieg, Kurt Warner, and Peyton Manning to name a few.
  7. That's the thing Derka. No one is right about anything cuz the guy hasn't played one snap in the NFL yet. You are going all in based on his draft position.
  8. It's weird you think you are a reasonable poster.
  9. Here you go. Again, you are arguing with so many people you can't keep things straight. That response was to me btw
  10. You made a comment about Quin's completion percentage. I cornered you on it and you continued to duck the question. I am not the receipts guy. That is JimmyJazz. You argue with so many people you can't even keep your opponents straight. Again, only one of us has had timeouts(multiple) for lighting the forum on fire, and that person is not me. I am only an asshole on this board. I am quite agreeable on others. BTW I have advocated for you on multiple occasions just so you know.
  11. Just because I don't post places doesn't mean I don't read them.
  12. Only one of us argues everywhere they go on the board and that person is not me.
  13. I told you the same thing the expert did but the difference is you cannot allow yourself to be schooled by someone you feel you are superior than. Even now. Even though you don't even know what you don't know, you are still being dismissive of someone even though you are being outclassed in the conversation.
  14. Ohio State has been winning consistently for seemingly ever. What in the fuck are you even talking about? We haven't been this good since 2009. Ohio State has more than 60 players in the league. They've had one losing season since 1988. 19 fucking 88. Meanwhile we just came off a stretch where we were irrelevant for 14 years Big. Let's not try to make it like the two things are ever comparable.
  15. Dude- Most people are thankful for Quinn because we remember what we had for the last decade or so(besides Sam). No one thinks Quinn did anything by himself, but we just ran the SEC with two 190lb, 3rd down backs, Juan Davis playing significant minutes, and one good wide receiver(Bond was hurt all year). Our roster isn't the monster you think it is. If you don't think so look at our roster vs Ohio State's. We ran back the same level of success after losing Worthy, Mitchell, Sanders, Brooks, Jones, Baxter, Whitt, Sweat, Murphy, Ford, and Williams.....AND transitioning to the SEC. Stability at quarterback has something to do with that.
  16. I do not think you are a dumb ass at all. It is clear you approach the game with experience. I can see that in your posts. I just think that some people are over-reliant on statistics. Even some really good coaches get caught up in the analytics sometimes. I think when you think I am explaining things I am talking to you. I am not. There are 1000's of lurkers on this thread that I am talking to. Some of those people don't understand the game and those are the people I am talking to. Take @Derka for example. He was bashing Quinn on a vertical route because he had no idea how a fade route is supposed to be run or thrown until another poster corrected him. Those are the people that need direction and explaining. You would never do that because you understand the nuances of the game. I respect that about you. I also respect that about @BurntOrange&White, and many other posters that I don't always see eye to eye with. You guys generally make this place a fun place to be and I commend you for that. So don't ever think I don't respect your knowledge because I am talking to the audience. It's a hangover from some professional roles.
  17. Lol. Nobody and I mean nobody thinks Quinn was the sole reason we won games. What I DO THINK is that our quarterback woes since Colt are why we were wandering in the desert and we finally got a solid one who was able to take advantage of the tools we had. What's weird to a lot of us is how quickly this place forgot what our other quarterbacks looked like. We went from excited to be competitive to dumb shit like insert mediocre qb would've been more successful in this offense than Ewers, as if he had nothing to do with us winning games.
  18. NO ONE is going to listen to you if your stance is that the Patriots' offense was based around airing it out. No one. Tom Brady was in the 6th round for two reasons. Lack of mobility and lack of arm strength. A 15 yard out from the opposite hash is a big time, 40 yard, NFL throw, but it still only counts as 15 yards, same as a 15 yard throw straight up the hash mark that you as the QB are standing on. In the stat book they both count the same but on the field they are very different. One is "airing it out". The other is "dink and dunk". Gronk averaged 15 yrds for his career catching balls up the seam. STATS DON'T TELL THE WHOLE STORY.
  19. This is a post that was thrown vertically instead of out in front. You know, the route that I said that Quinn struggles throwing and then @Had Enough said "With no support or context. So we’re to take this as gospel because you said so". Quinn misses this route A LOT. The throw to Worthy in the game at Bama was a post that Quinn threw vertically just Worthy adjusted to it. It's crazy to me that he misses that route to the level he does while being really good at throwing a deep dig which is much harder.
  20. Absolutely. But they had a unique recipe that worked. TEs worked the seams. A small, quick guy working the LOS, and some rando for the intermediate. So let me get this straight. Are you going to come here and tell us that the Patriots, outside of the Moss years, were a downfield passing team? Is that the business you are going to stand on?
  21. Lol. You guys HAVE TO lay off the stats. You know damn well outside of the Moss era Brady made his money in the short to intermediate passing game. There are 1000 ways to get to 8.6 yards per attempt.
  22. Yep. A huge chunk of Ewers missed downfield throws were on the same route combo where the deep guy is running a big post. He threw it vertical every. damn. time. He was very good with true verticals on his right side, and missed quite a few true verticals on his left.
  23. Its a fade. The receiver is supposed get vertical while leaving a few yards to his outside and not allow the DB to walk him to the sideline. QB is supposed to hit the receiver on the outside shoulder, guiding him away from the defender so he cannot break up the pass. Where the defender is determines where the throw should be. If the defender is on top of the receiver then the QB should throw the fade to the back shoulder. If the defender is on his hip you throw it upfield and to the outside shoulder. Literally a perfect throw.
