  1. Pope is from Wilson, North Carolina so that should explain it. Acting has cleaned some of it up but let him get a couple drinks in him.
  2. The actor playing security against the wall in these Kevin Hart videos is a friend of mine named Bryson Pope. Pope played football. Cool dude. Country talking as hell. lol
  3. 100% true. Which is why teams defend us the way they do. Which is why we can run the football. Which is why we win. As soon as Arch starts regularly taking the easy throw he will be the starter here.
  4. And this is a quality post that I think most people will agree with. However, you have to understand that OTHER people on this thread besides yourself really are calling for Arch to step in when we are 10-1 and locked in to a spot for the CFP. You may be level headed with things but others are wildly not. One person in particular that swears he was cheering QE on last yr.
  5. Dude. I love Arch Manning. Everyone does. And when Arch is our guy behind center you will likely not find a more staunch defender than me as I am a positive guy in general. I am only closing an argument that Arch is more consistent currently than Quinn. Arch has a higher ceiling. We all see that. But I am not about to compared to Derka when I say Quinn is ahead of Arch and sit here and take that.
  6. Sailing balls high are potential INTs. Again, these are roughly a 3rd of Arch's throws. You told me Arch is more errant with any noticeable regularity than Quinn. The only way I can prove that statement false is with video. Now I am the asshole for bringing actual proof. QE doesn't regularly throw into double coverage either.
  7. But what he is saying is accurate about gameplay up to this point so it is still valid.
  8. You call me out on something saying I am gaslighting. I put up around 30 of Arch's 90 throws as receipts and now I am the asshole.
  9. This post is the kind of post that irritates me. Before I do this let me say that Arch is going to be good eventually. He has made some big sexy throws and I think because of that, and our general love for the kid, we forget everything else we've seen him do when he has had his time under center. Arch has thrown 90 balls this season. He has a lot of overthrows, underthrows, throws into double coverage, throws behind, high throws, and even inappropriate throws for RBs and TEs. Quinn is immobile and is lucky if ever he hits the deep ball. He has to be kept clean to be effective and isn't going to evade a couple rushers with regularity. However, when dude is healthy he is going to throw a solid ball from short to intermediate ranges. He is going to find the right guy. Ball location is going to be good. Ball will be a nice catchable ball. Screen balls will be on the money and leading upfield. Quinn is fine taking the easy throw and dinking and dunking the ball down the field. Because of this Sark trusts him and knows exactly what he is getting from him. Arch on the other hand is a gunslinger. He is going to go big game hunting frequently. He will take a lot of chances and that scares a coach. Arch Miscues-1.mp4
  10. Wow this thread is completely out of control!! Lol
  11. Truest post in the thread
  12. Yeah. You are better if you keep moving. Dude's last two throws were zero plant foot. Just ugly. I think Sark shoulda pulled the plug on him after those two throws.
  13. "I praise Quinn plenty" Lol! This dude literally took a year off last year after dragging QE up and down the year prior about how trash he is and how he would never win. I wish someone could do a post count over last season and I bet it was almost nothing up until the last throw in the Washington game. Now that Quinn has had his struggles this year dude has cranked the hate engine up to 11. These same dudes were the guys saying Sark was trash too. I see that thread is buried deep in the archives.
  14. His feet are almost never where they are supposed to be but that is that dude's superpower. He can throw pretty accurately all over the field up to intermediate depth with his feet and arm completely disconnected. So I am sure trying to coach him out of that when he has so much success is like talking to a brick wall.
  15. Dude cannot throw a deep post to save his life. Think back to the deep balls he has hit like the Moore throw up the sideline. He throws verticals decently. He throws posts vertical instead of out front. As son as I see a deep post route I already know its a miss.
  16. Not hardly- He had a great game vs Gator, a mediocre game vs Pig, and really solid 1st half last game pre injury. But if you read this thread he hasn't played well since Michigan. You literally hang on his every throw bitching if he misses one. Meanwhile these other QBs on these good teams have horrible games. You see Milroe? Dart? Multiple games by Beck? I pay attention to what the bottom can look like and am happy we haven't had to worry about that here. Quinn isn't perfect at all but we are about to go to the playoffs for the second year in a row and I feel like most of you aren't thankful enough for what that guy has brought to the program. It's Simms 2.0
  17. That's a 30 yard cross field throw with a guy 10 yards away from the receiver and running his way. Even on time he gets lit up at worst. Do the mph math. They don't play 3 safeties in the league. That throw in the league is usually vs cover 2.
  18. Correct on all but the Golden wheel. That was a really tight window. I give him a pass on that one. The thing that bothers me is all these idiots here that misremember other QBs. Like take Arch for example. He has a lot more shitty throws than people remember whether it be trows into double and triple coverage, late throws, or off target throws. People are actually buying into this Manning Illuminati BS. It's wild to me. I also hate it because when the fanbase starts spreading that stuff it gets back to the QB and affects how things go on the field. No fanbase should understand that more than us. What we did to Simms was criminal and especial since in hindsight Major turned out to be the shittier human.
  19. Also the throw to Helm was pretty tits. He feathered it in there nicely. A lot of QBs don't have that in their bag.
  20. He should've been pulled when he got hurt. Didn't like that call from Sark at all. But yeah we kept him pretty clean and he did his thing. The all arm throw is weird. He doesn't step into a lot of his throws. I think that is a function of him trying to take something off it. My daughter does this. She doesn't rotate her torso when she is trying to take something of her vball swing instead of just slowing her arm down. Just like QE not sound at all.
  21. In my opinion his best incompletion was the throw he threaded to the back of the ez from the sideline after escaping the pocket vs Michigan that got called back for holding or the deep ball to Moore up the sideline that he dropped a couple weeks ago.
  22. This post is all conspiracy theories and tin hats. Ewers is currently better at everything except running and throwing the deep ball and that's why he is playing over Arch. We all looked at Arch like man he really improved vs MSU and then we turned around and nit-picked every throw when Ewers went for 333 and 5TDs in just over a half vs Florida.
  23. We are 10-1 in the SEC but Quinn Ewers is incredibly easy to scheme against? Number 15 scoring offense? Number 17 passing offense despite the fact that we aren't even a spread team. Number 18 total offense? Everyone is choosing o take him away instead of loading up on the run but easy to scheme against. Lol
  24. Yeah that UK freshman is gonna be the first pick in the draft. Not like anyone is gonna get some tape of him and take away his strengths. Give him the heisman now.
