  1. Tell me then. What are the millions reasons to believe adding Harrell and/or Dodge matters in getting a guy like Ewers to Lubbock
  2. He choose an advance of his payday over playing for Riley Dodge his senior year. He could have committed and enrolled to play for Harrell at USC in August if he wanted to. But now those guys are going to get him to go fucking Tech? Nah
  3. Correct, you're the former offensive coordinator. And as our former OC you also coached a National Championship team (even if Vince had to bail you out), so that was a cheap shot imo
  4. Kind of just sounds just an analyst with a fancy title. And getting him around the program for this…
  5. I kind of agree, but hasn’t PK himself already taken that exact demotion once in his career?
  6. If it's Lanning that really echoes the Stoops hire 20 whatever years ago. SEC defensive coordinator, mid 30s, never been a head coach. Stoops had a bit more experience. IDK, it worked back then but it's a risky move to say the least. Like others have said it will probably really hinge on who his OC is.
  7. Oh wow, another one
  8. Great stuff as always Chip
  9. PK is stealing money with this setup but at least there is a chance our defense that wouldn't be a complete joke.
  10. Yeah, pretty sure he would have been in high school when those were sent. Shocking a 17 year old may have saying offensive shit. Also, whoever runs that SMU account is a lunatic and likely an adult.
  11. That's true, but Ensminger had all those guys the year before and couldn't do shit with them. They were shut out by Alabama. The next year they had one of the best offenses in cfb history.
  12. Regarding the last line, have they been pumping Venables?
  13. In the spirit of preferring the full tire fire, I'm holding out hope for Shane Beamer. Maybe he even wants to reunite with Mike Stoops as DC, who was totally scape-gloated by that evil Lincoln Riley.
  14. Seems like he kind of went all in with Darnold being the guy there once they traded for him. That...has not worked out well.
  15. Gotta expect even more aggressive processing of guys. At six figs, more than ever they are employees now. And they can be fired…
  16. I'll play. The COVID year makes it tough because I'm constantly confused on who still has eligibility and a few of these guys may have already quit, but: QB: Thompson, Wright WR: Woodward, Dixon, Harrison OL: TJohnson, Ghirmai, Garth TE: Wiley, Liebrock DL: Goram-Welch, Dorbah LB: Hullaby, Adeoye DB: Adimora, Caldwell It's shocking how easy it is to get over 15 when looking at that roster.
  17. Nice. Now anyone know if Coleman has a brother who he can link up with elsewhere?
  18. Mehringer still fucking us all this time later is pretty impressive really.
  19. Yup, realized that was the case and edited. To be fair though, I wouldn't join any organization that employed my dipshit brother UNTIL they fired him but I guess some people like their siblings.
  20. Nevermind, didn't know they were brothers...
  21. Well if Choate isn't going to work hard at least he's working smart. Found a way to get a free vacation to Hawaii. Gotta blow off some steam after the season I guess.
