  1. Well he's already auditioning to replace Fisher. He literally just said from the inside you can't explain it and from the outside you can't understand it.
  2. As several have been so happy to point out, Hamas was elected by the Palestinian people. So they're the government. So their attacks aren't terrorism according to your twisted view, they're just war/an invasion. You've made some good points and some terrible ones. This is one of the terrible ones. The Israeli government has absolutely committed terroristic acts. So has the United States government. So have many governments. Most, in fact, of the most powerful nations in history have done so.
  3. You must not read much. It's a top 10-15 comeback by deficit overcome in history and Stanford is around the third worst P5 team in the country. Those are just facts.
  4. Snarky but seriously true. Before this result, 2023 Stanford was about as good as 2022 Colorado. They were rated around 100th in the country. And Colorado blew a 29-0 lead against them at home. I don't think people appreciate how bad this was. Sure everyone understands blowing a huge lead is a choke job. But blowing that lead to that team at home was one of the biggest chokes in the sport's history.
  5. Literally playing for clicks. He actually validated Lanning.
  6. Arizona is bad. So that should be a win but then again so was Stanford.
  7. Good morning. This was a Helobious level post.
  8. Not enough urgency on that drive from the Cardinal. They had time to go for the win. Colorado defense was done.
  9. I don't know about solid. Competent perhaps. They're playing about the 100th best defense in the nation. Stanford is awful on both sides of the ball this season. That's not to say their offense isn't light years better than last season.
  10. No, he stated that USC and UCLA were no longer along the member institutions represented on the board. He didn't say they relinquished their positions. There is a direct quote in the story you were responding to and everything.
  11. I have insurance and always have. There was some standard insurance fuckery, but in this case I actually understood BCBS's position that the rate was too far above reasonable market cost or whatever. So they went after me. They were just as successful as they were getting BCBS to pay any more than they did.
  12. The first sentence is key. And the last sentence is unfortunately the last resort for many people, but for me a few times I've simply never paid. I have always and always will pay debts that I agreed to. But if you think I'm paying you $1700 for one minute of attention without telling me how much it would be you can fuck right off. You will never see that money. Same with an ambulance bill once. The EMTs administered smelling salts and drove my daughter 4 miles. $2500. Haha fuck you. Nope. On that one I researched rates for the same service in the area and got two numbers at $1500 and $1600. Absurd in their own right but I called and said I'd pay $1600 to settle. They said they don't negotiate. I said cool, you'll get nothing. I realize there are reasons not everyone can do that. But a lot more people can than realize it. Too many people consider themselves prisoner to whatever number the provider pulls out of the air.
  13. The story absolutely matters, the very existence of atrocity propaganda proves that. It's not about how the babies died, it's about the humanity of the killers. As stated above, bombing a building that babies happened to be in is a world apart from beheading them. Convincing the public that the killers were evil monsters rather than just callous or thoughtless assholes greatly changes public support for war and your level of retaliation. None of the above has anything to do with whether or not this story is true. Just that it's wrong to say it doesn't matter. Dammit, called into a meeting before I finished and posted. This has obviously been covered.
  14. Based on his Maldonado valuation the best job he could take for the Astros is Yankees GM.
  15. 15 wins? Why the fuck didn't we trade him for Ohtani?
  16. Yep, the first three for the Braves were straight to the LCS after the season. Which is obviously impressive on its own to win your division.
  17. Back in the Astro League Championship Series.
  18. "I'm cheering whichever 9" Lineup announced, immediately bitches about 1 of the 9
  19. Three-year-olds are monsters.
