  1. You're doing the exact same thing in reverse. This whole thread is
  2. It's time like these I wonder where @TahoeHornis. All those years denying that the Republican Party was heading down a stupid path and that it's just a coalition of special policy interests. I wonder now that they stand for nothing if he's ready to admit he was wrong. Or if instead he just willingly wears the clown shoes to go get the donuts and coffee for the party meeting in Bugtussle, Alabama he always liked to talk about.
  3. Some would say not immediately believing this atrocity propaganda makes you an anti-Muslim religious bigot. Rational people would say this is just the smart approach.
  4. No I would not. I want Texas to have a great coach. A good coach has competitive teams and winning records, maybe .600+ winning percentage. It takes more wins at places that schedule 3 creampuffs in non-conference. That's not the expectation at Texas but it doesn't change the meanings of good and bad.
  5. This is silly. Texas has had 4 good coaches since 1976. One great coach.
  6. Right, and Iowa is the only school that has three. They definitely figured out how to continue avoiding difficult Big Ten schedules.
  7. Take an oath to faithfully execute the "OFFICE" of the chief executive of the federal government. Lawyers: but he might not be an officer of the federal government
  8. This is a danger when all time great players become coaches. Sanders could very well be dictating Hunter's use and lack of help. "I was great and I could play offense and still shut down anyone for a whole game. Just do that." Two problems with that. First is that Sanders didn't play nearly as much offense as Hunter is (at altitude!). Could that be because Sanders always wanted to play more offense than coaches let him? Regardless, the second issue is that while Hunter is really good, he's not close to being as good as Sanders was.
  9. And what it is is stupid. Sometimes the shit you get is because you refuse to let it go and just admit it's stupid or silly at best. Everyone here understands that lawyers have been having stupid arguments for hundreds of years. You're not showing anyone anything they don't already know. Nobody is surprised that the legal profession has figured out a way to make money billing time to argue about a word with a clear and obvious meaning in the 14th Amendment. I love the law and legal silliness as a general concept. The problem is you seem to be offended or unaware when the situation is that everyone understands but they still think lawyers are being stupid. Again, no serious person thinks the President doesn't fall under the meaning of officer in that sentence.
  10. I said reasonable person. That clearly doesn't include lawyers.
  11. No serious person would consider the President not to be a federal officer. So the Supreme Court probably won't consider him an officer.
  12. https://abc7chicago.com/plainfield-murder-joseph-m-czuba-stabbing-16200-s-lincoln-hwy-il/13918623/ Dehumanizing people has consequences.
  13. Well he's already auditioning to replace Fisher. He literally just said from the inside you can't explain it and from the outside you can't understand it.
  14. As several have been so happy to point out, Hamas was elected by the Palestinian people. So they're the government. So their attacks aren't terrorism according to your twisted view, they're just war/an invasion. You've made some good points and some terrible ones. This is one of the terrible ones. The Israeli government has absolutely committed terroristic acts. So has the United States government. So have many governments. Most, in fact, of the most powerful nations in history have done so.
  15. You must not read much. It's a top 10-15 comeback by deficit overcome in history and Stanford is around the third worst P5 team in the country. Those are just facts.
  16. Snarky but seriously true. Before this result, 2023 Stanford was about as good as 2022 Colorado. They were rated around 100th in the country. And Colorado blew a 29-0 lead against them at home. I don't think people appreciate how bad this was. Sure everyone understands blowing a huge lead is a choke job. But blowing that lead to that team at home was one of the biggest chokes in the sport's history.
  17. Literally playing for clicks. He actually validated Lanning.
  18. Arizona is bad. So that should be a win but then again so was Stanford.
  19. Good morning. This was a Helobious level post.
  20. Not enough urgency on that drive from the Cardinal. They had time to go for the win. Colorado defense was done.
