  1. Everyone knows Jerry West was a prolific scorer, but he was just as adept as a passer. West could change the flow of a game at will. A team player who played hard on both sides of the court. He never flopped, was humble, and refused to even dunk a ball. A classy guy all the way around. Godspeed, Jerry.
  2. With GERN’s blood cancer drug, Imetelstat, being approved last Thursday night by the FDA for the indication of MDS requiring transfusion, GERN’s growth via a BP partnership and/or buyout are the paths from here.
  3. GERN +.41 to $5.
  4. Can we haz two wins in a row and, maybe, possibly build a little momentum?
  5. GERN’s blood cancer drug, Imetelstat, was approved by the FDA. GERN +.72 to $4.61. Holding 6,000 shares of GERN at $3.19.
  6. And make it a slow and painful death.

  8. Damn it. You’re supposed to tell us before this shit happens.
  9. Whazzup with that? I thought aggy was all about turdition.
  10. Walton was the best all around center I’ve seen at the college level and he was on his way to making that same mark in the NBA before the foot injuries derailed his career. Scoring, rebounding, passing, and blocking shots. When he was healthy there was nobody better.
  11. I was reticent about sharing my addiction with alcohol, but confession is good for the soul and I’d read enough on this thread to know most or all of you have been where I am. I’ve quit alcohol several times only to relapse. However, the abuse was nothing near the descent of this most recent episode which began in mid-September of last year. I feel pretty good today and we’ll see if that trajectory continues. Thanks to each of you who has offered help. I know you’re there for me if I need you. One day at a time, sweet Jesus. One day at a time.
  12. Thank you for your offer of support and don’t be surprised if you hear from me. My doctor said I’m going through a washing out period and the alcohol cravings could return bigly in 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. In the evening, automatically, I want to reach for the bottle….,but I also want to stay alive. I’m embarrassed and ashamed for keeping this from my wife who has been >extremely< understanding since Saturday. Now, she wakes up in the middle of the night and reaches over to touch me to make sure I’m not out of bed and drinking (and I’m cognizant enough now to feel that). This morning, she asked where I was keeping the bottles because she had looked all over the house and couldn’t find them. As it played out, I killed the last bottle before ending up in the ER. I have to regain her trust and will do whatever I need to do to make that happen.
  13. I’ve been drinking a lot on top of taking Lunesta and that combination put me in the ER Saturday morning as I was unresponsive when my wife tried to wake me. So, per the ER doctor and my PCP no more sleeping pills and no more alcohol. I’ve used alcohol as a crutch to deal with chronic pain and as a sedative allowing me to sleep. Then, I’d wake up in the middle of the night, unable to get back to sleep unless I drank more. My blood alcohol level in the ER was .345. Something like this had to happen forcing me to modify my behavior, so I don’t wake up dead. My blood alcohol level in the ER was .345. I knew this day of reckoning would come. I’m just glad I’m alive to see it.

  16. C’mon now. AMYZF has no debt and $13.58 million in cash which is more than enough to get them through the JV with Zenith. There’s nothing wrong with their science or process. As you are probably aware, EV demand has taken a hit as public acceptance has slowed. It seems hybrids are more popular than pure EV’s. AMY just needs EV demand to increase to make battery materials go up in value. Once their JV is finished and they begin selling some product, AMY will receive a royalty on sold recovered/recycled material. However, until EV demand increases, this is dead money and the sp will stay at around $.11. Holding 125,000 shares of AMYZF at $.91.
  17. Whatever Cleveland does with Mitchell will be the wrong thing. We’re talking about Cleveland…where paint chips are a basic good group.
