  1. Finished it last light. I thought the first 5 or 6 episodes were really good, had enough creepiness and awkward moments to keep me interested. It seemed to really start tailing off after that and by episode 9 it went straight downhill.
  2. McLaren Senna First Crash Takes Place in Munich, Airbags Deployed “An example of the 800 horsepower toy crashed in Munich over the weekend, with the photo above showcasing the aftermath of the adventure. As you can notice, the tarmac shows tire tracks and it looks like the Senna went nose-first into a wall. “ https://www.autoevolution.com/news/mclaren-senna-first-crash-takes-place-in-munich-airbags-deployed-129604.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. So the wife took our dog for a walk this evening and said she heard the mockingbird at the end of the block. Haven’t heard him any tonight, so hopefully he decided to go bother someone else and doesn’t come back. Probably lack of success attracting a mate. Anyway, thanks for all of y’alls suggestions. 4. Sorry for the vagueness. It's a Daisy Winchester air rifle, shoots .177 caliber pellets. Bought it at Academy several years ago, around $100.
  5. Fired bb’s randomly into bushes and trees on the weekend. No hits and didn’t scare him off. Installed this on Sunday to no effect: Last night I played male mockingbird sounds I found on YouTube. That makes him stop for awhile, but then he starts up again. This sucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. They always discuss college football on Tuesdays. Talking about it now. Listening to Jub try to prop up 0U.
  7. From American Horror Story-Hotel There’s more explicit ones from that season, but Tapa doesn’t allow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I'm having a hard time locating his position at night, as he goes silent or flies off when I walk out to the backyard, so so far nothing has worked. The water guns work very well in daylight hours to drive the mockingbirds away from our fence.
  9. So much good stuff on this album, not just Banditos.
  10. Pellet gun. I've used it on rats, but the pellets go right through them if you don't hit them in the head.
  11. Wish me luck guys. Hopefully no errant shots resulting in lawsuits from my neighbors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yep , I was there late '80s, early '90s, and the frat and sorority names were used in the story. Just can't remember them. Probably Chi-O for the sorority.
  13. Fraternity sends sorority a box of doughnuts. The girls enjoy the doughnuts and think how thoughtful of the frat boys. Later that day the frat boys have polaroids delivered to the sorority house. Of course the pics show the doughnuts being used as cock rings.
  14. For that I would need a night vision rig to find the damn thing. Then a laser sight/flashlight mounted on my son's BB gun. (Can't see shit at night.)
  15. Monday night was walking around playing hawk sounds. Last night was using my son's super soaker water gun, blasting the yaupon tree where I thought the mockingbird was. Also trying to shoot water at the bird when it was on my 2nd story roof, resulting in drenching an upstairs window. So I guess yelling at clouds isn't far behind.
  16. I spent part of Monday night walking around my backyard playing red tailed hawk sounds on my phone. No joy.
  17. Yea if this keeps up I fully expect to find myself in a dog van full of strangers singing.
  18. So for the last 2 weeks, there has been a mockingbird on my property singing all night. It starts around 9:00 p.m. and goes until sun up. It flies from the roof to a tree to a neighbor's tree and back again. If I go into the backyard, it flies off. I'll stand in the backyard with a flashlight, locate the bird, shine the light on it - nothing. Just keeps on singing. Meanwhile I'm getting eaten by mosquitoes and losing sleep. I assume it's a male mockingbird looking for a mate, which I don't want it to find as that will just lead to more mockingbirds in my area. I never had mockingbirds around my house until they showed up last spring, when they started to perch on my fence and harass my dog. Is there anything I can do to get this bird to stop singing at night? I realize it's illegal to shoot a mockingbird as it's the state bird and some book says it's a sin. Also, I already asked my husband.
  19. I agree. I think the DPD will settle out of court on the civil case. The family can hopefully find out what really happened when the criminal case against the former officer commences.
