  1. i believe it has been hinted at pretty heavily that Texas folks are getting bumped down due to how poorly Texas has developed in recent years, i assume that's what this is related to.
  2. Tyler Chapel Hill is a 4A program in the same district as Kilgore, Lindale, Pine Tree, Henderson and Palestine. there is no universe where i consider them a "small school" now, Bussey at Timpson (2A, populatoin 991) who is in a district with Joaquin (population 728), Shelbyville (221!), Garrison (793) - that's a small school prospect. acting like a 4A school is "small" is lazy as hell.
  3. Gerry: Texas three straight top 6 ranked classes: By the numbers (7:27 a.m. CST) https://ontexasfootball.com/news/texas-three-straight-top-6-ranked-classes-by-the-numbers-727-am-cst-r159/ Gerry's Signing Day post: https://ontexasfootball.com/news/signing-day-ontexasfootball-2024-class-rankings-wednesday-544-am-cst-r158/ in this thread, Gerry had this to say when asked about Alex Foster
  4. went to Tacos n Salsa on 1604 and damn, their trash can taco was incredible. https://tnsmexicancafe.com/ migas taco was ok, i'm a sucker for them but everything in it was too big - like peppers and tortilla chips were size of a quarter. but damn, the salsa and the trash can taco? amazing.
  5. translation from reddit: from reddit comments: Jos is absolutely dumb enough to think that RBR can do better than Horner and that Newey is over the hill. Max/Jos backing an 80 year old Marko over Horner is dumb dumb dumb. new rumor isn't around a picture he sent, and if this is all they have...man. that's a stretch.
  6. setup was the wrong word, 100% - thank you for clarification.
  7. just to be clear, Henry Ford died 17 years before the Mustang was produced and 28 years before the Ford F150 (not the F-Series) was released. keep in mind, he turned over the Ford Motor Company's presidency to Edsel in 1918 only to come back after Edsel died in 1943. also, much like Elon he was a true piece of shit and his legacy is of being a Nazi.
  8. https://saturdaytradition.com/michigan-football/michigans-returning-production-paints-brutal-picture-for-sherrone-moores-debut-season/ Michigan's returning production paints brutal picture for Sherrone Moore's debut season there's a pretty good chance some of that returning talent comes back, sees what they have in the spring, sees the schedule, doesn't like the new coordinator or position coach, and makes a change. not unique to Michigan BUT with the coaching changes that may also push some folks.
  9. just to be clear, he fucking quit on his high school team. ...then tried to come back and his team voted not to allow him to, at a time when he was the #1 RB recruit in the country. edit: been clarified above the coaches said no, not team/captains
  10. my dad calls this poor man's french fries. he grew up eating them a ton.
  11. well fuck, someone better tell Sark. dude had 28% of his catches for the season vs Washington and 1 catch through the first like 9 games. folks inside and outside the program have spoken very highly of Baxter's hands. Blue has played in 14 games in his career and has 14 total catches, with 4 of them in his last game. i like guys who have an all around game. we know who the coaching staff liked based on how they played guys when all 3 were healthy. Alabama: 15 touches for Brooks, 15 touches for Baxter, 2 touches for Blue (for 2 total yards btw) Kansas: 22 touches for Brooks, 17 touches for Baxter, 4 touches for Blue OU: 27 touches for Brooks, 7 touches for Baxter, 0 for Brooks Kansas State: 22 touches for Brooks, 10 touches for Baxter, 2 touches for Blue ISU: 25 touches for Baxter, 11 touches for Blue, 0 for JB (hurt) i get that you like the home run potential, but it's very, very clear how the staff valued the true freshman over the guy who had been with the program a full season. would be floored if Blue is the RB1 next year, without injury, at any point.
  12. get this: it doesn't ship/transfer in any kind of cling wrap, which means it gets scratched and gets road shit and rain on it during transport. it's maybe the dumbest vehicle that is going to be produced in the last 20 years in this country, and i know that's saying a lot. it isn't good at what it's supposed to do, it's incomplete on the technical side, it is terrible for pedestrians, it is made out of the dumbest material possible, it's hard to see out of in the front and back seats, it's a failure at things like "keeping the truck bed dry" and it has shitty projected mileage.
  13. maybe is should re-word how i said it and let you (who knows wayyyyyyyyyyyy more about this than me) clarify/correct the car is set up to exactly how he likes to drive (think Albon talked about this when he was the reserve driver for RBR) - which is not the easiest car to drive/style that matches a bunch of drives out there today. i think that's more accurate than what i said above, i think? please correct if not!

    Below Deck

i don't understand why they aren't out here trying to replicate the concept of BDSY - good department heads, good captain, decent to good rest of crew. why are we getting more of fucking Sandy, who is as insufferable of a TV personality as I think I have ever seen, and a ton of folks who are easily in the bottom 10% of people in that industry?
  15. I love May's old TV shows - Toy Stories, Man Lab, Things you Need to Know, Cars of the People
  16. the single skill that Blue has over Baxter is speed. Blue had 1 rush for -2 yards and 1 catch for 7 yards vs Alabama. Baxter started the game and had 15 touches, the same as Brooks. Baxter came in as a true freshman and pretty clearly demolished Blue based on what the coaches saw.
  17. yeah, he won't be. Baxter was RB1 going into last year as a true freshman. Blue has burst, but IIRC he is not as good in pass pro as Baxter (someone correct me if i am wrong) and is not as good of a pass catcher also, there's the comparison Blue, after JB went down: Baxter, after JB went down: Blue had a very good last 3 games, splitting carries with Baxter basically (i think it was 29/31) but his overall skillset - assuming I am right about pass pro - is pretty far behind Baxter, who we know Sark really likes.
  18. Brandon Harris as the team GM? i want to trust Sark, but shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. that's a guy who has *never* been in a position at that level and is certainly concerning at best. i'm all for internally promoting your dudes if they are awesome, but Brandon Harris?
  19. it's legit one of the toughest spots to be in sports at the moment fantastic car, but you have to go up against one of the best drivers ever in a car that is set up to his driving style to the detriment of anyone else. oh yeah, and he is on absolutely driving like his hair is on fucking fire for the last few years. i think they handled everything well with Alex and i think he had a positive experience during his year away with them - but yeah, if you have another shot in another car you take that one if the money is anywhere near comparable.
  20. it would make a ton of sense for both partners. i want them to swap before this season but that won't happen
  21. charles JUST signed his last week maybe? saw someone on twitter (MB official update?) say that he exercised his out
