  1. Haynes King for Heisman!!!!
  2. I have a liking for the KC12. Apparently it’s catching on because Specs has a “limit 1 per customer” tag on the shelf. It’s a good juice for the price point. And this Frank August was just a shot in the dark. Specs guy told me he really enjoyed it. Maybe he was upselling me. Don’t know. I’ll give it a spin.
  3. Related question….i want to be able to change out the bracelet for a strap every so often. Is there a good pin puller out there that will cause no damage and makes it easy to remove the pins? The booklet that came with my Pelagos said that strap replacements should only be done by an authorized dealer. I do not want to have to go to the dealer every time I want my strap changed. Easier to just find the right tool and do it myself. Any suggestions?
  4. Can now officially post outside of the affordable watch thread. Just picked it up today. Looks so much better in person than pics can ever do it justice.
  5. Longhorn not centered. Like goalposts. WNBuy
  6. Goddamit everybody shut the fuk up about flat brims being awful. Just about every hat comes off the display with a flat or less than rounded brim. Jesus titty fukn Christ. If you don’t like it there is a real simple process to turn a flat bill into a rounded bill. It’s not even a multi step process. Either get a rubber band or don’t buy the muthrfukr. Geezus.
  7. As a side note…I did almost break down and buy the Stagg. I haven’t seen it anywhere else. But I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. It’s the principle of the matter.
  8. Few months ago I walked into a rando store and they had them priced at $90 if memory serves. It wasn’t over $100 I know that. Guy let me buy 2. Went back a week later and got another one. I’m pretty well stocked up. For now…..
  9. And some places still charge outrageous.
  10. Got a griddle today. Only about a decade late to the party. Seasoned her up. And of course the only reasonable thing to cook first on it is some ribeyes. Need some sides. We do potatoes and asparagus. But the star of the show. The Peace of Resistance. Perfectly cooked medium rare. And yes. It’s on a paper plate. We are nouveau riche. Came out perfect and it’s almost fool proof. Beautiful thing is…..you can use the fat scraps to clean the griddle afterwards. Comes out clean as a whistle.
  11. Bought new tires. Nitto. Here’s the reason I bought new tires. Also….avoiding death wobble.
  12. Bjork on the ground
  13. Anybody know anything about this? Don’t wanna spend the coin on it if it’s mid.
  14. 160 posts in and no one has mentioned Kai Money yet…..
  15. For baseball…How do you have Kieschnick ahead of Roger, Swindell, Schiraldi, Calvin Murphy, Melendez, Street…..?
  16. I sat in the original KIT car. Hasselhoff wasn’t on set at the time. I high fived VY at the tailgate before the OSU game. Shook hands with Ima (haven’t washed since). I have a signed poster from ‘84 of the entire roster.
  17. Made plans to go to dinner the other night and my daughter asked if we could go to the mall afterwards. Sure. Why not? Walk off some calories and maybe add them back by getting some ice cream or a cookie for dessert. I had the battery on a Tissot die so I figured I’d take it and get the battery changed. Found a place and as they were changing the battery my wife saw a watch she thought was “cute.” I’ll spare the details but she walked out with this on her wrist: Of course I told her I thought it was an excellent choice. Not one to be outdone I picked up the matching 40mm:
  18. Delicious
  19. Stopped off at another little local joint I frequent. Was just gonna grab a sixer of beers. Ran into this at $191. Grabbed it and am excited about the find. I’ve always wanted to try it.
  20. Gonna go ahead and give it a crack. Readily available.
