  1. Maybe I missed it, but anyone have a company/guy they'd recommend to design an outdoor kitchen/patio in Austin? Possibly install as well
  2. Anyone got rec's in Austin for a landscape/outdoor kitchen design and possibly install? Grill sitting on the covered porch is taking up too much room.
  3. Interesting. On my trips to the grocery store here in Austin anecdotally it's the olds that aren't wearing masks, not the youths. Talked to more than one cashier about it
  4. Same boat completely. I think @ChiTownDoc or someone else mentioned the antibody test where they take a full vial of blood is generally more accurate, and the Remedy test for me was just a finger prick. I'm considering donating blood again as the central texas bloodbank sent out that they need A+ and that's my blood type. I just checked their website and they do not test for antibodies on donation, unfortunately.
  5. Call em or hit up their website contact page for help. Their customer service has been awesome every time I've used them.
  6. Thanks for the input, I just ordered a Vivoactive 3 as it is so ridiculously cheap right now and seems to check all the boxes. I'll give it a few runs later this week to see how I like it.
  7. They're cops. Not an occupying army. How hard is that to draw the line between?
  8. Correct me if I'm wrong Lou, but you can't riot from your own front porch.
  9. I mean, cops behavior over the last week during protests has been pretty suspect in their use of force all across the country. Calling every protest across the USA a riot is disingenuous and not accurate.
  10. Thanks for the responses. I don't use headphones on runs, so that's not really a concern for me. I'm hoping to find something where I can leave the phone at home, although with young kids I'm not sure how great of an idea that actually is. Most of my workouts are an hour or less and during naps so I'm thinking it won't be a big deal. The battery life on the Apple definitely makes me think twice. I do want to track sleep & 24x7 HR. The reasoning on the altimeter is just overall accuracy of the training load. I'm running a ton of different trail loop variations so it seems like a decent idea to track. I'd agree that distance is waaaay more important, and it's just hills in Austin rather than mountains in CO so maybe I'm putting too much importance on that feature.
  11. So, I'm up to about 25 miles per week and really need a gps watch for runs. Holding the phone is not really practical, plus with hotter weather incoming the sweaty hands are becoming more of an issue. Reading DC Rainmaker it seems like my options should be apple watch, FR45, or vivoactive 3 or 4. I use runkeeper on the phone currently, but as this is for a mix of road and trail runs I am mostly looking for something with an altimeter for elevation changes. Ability to follow way points or have maps would be cool but not necessary. Anyone got opinions?
  12. Doesn’t matter how hard the push is, if you’re a regular joe and you do that you rightfully get charged.
  13. You do that on dirty 6th after a night of drinking and you get charged with manslaughter. Jesus.
  14. We sell to OEM in the construction business. Orders are way down but future projects are full steam ahead.
  15. I don't know if this example from Asheville has been discussed, but its depressing how petty cops' behavior has been and how many injuries/bad situations have come from that behavior. Add to that Asheville was one of the cities where cops took a knee to acknowledge the protesters, so I guess that was just a PR move rather than a statement of actual police intentions.
  16. Drive by posting those isn't news or discussion, and is equivalent to masturbation in that while it might feel good for you, it ultimately has no greater point.
  17. All of them.
  18. The men’s soccer league here in austin is planning on reopening play June 21st. I don’t know how I’ll feel in a few weeks, but right now contact sports seems a little out of my comfort zone.
  19. Ya that seems pretty awesome. It’d be nice to not have to kill a tallboy to have a nice local hazy ipa
  20. Supposedly Grayson County had its first death, a dude in his 50s who worked at the Tyson plant in Sherman. NVM, up to 2.
  21. I just re-balanced into some lower expense funds due to a job change. I'm sure that means the market is about to take a gigantic shit.
  22. You can have a cashier's check overnighted to your title company for $20, at least if you have Capital One, not sure about other banks. Seems like a no-brainer. No need to go into the bank to even get one made out, entire process is online.
  23. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Ideal-Insulation-Displacement-Wire-Connectors-25-Pack-85-925/100192058 Well, that's a 3 wire fitting but they likely carry 4 wire fittings
