  1. I don't think Johnson is pushing the foreign aid bill(s) because he's willing to sacrifice himself. If that were the case he would have done it by now. Something's changed that he no longer fears losing his position.
  2. Full text of Renn's post: Full text of Darling's: I don't follow these accounts - Kinzinger reposted this. Might explain how things changed.
  3. actually my read was it was enough Republicans were ready to sign it to bring it up to a vote - so they told him to do it or they'll do it for him. keep in mind there were many Democrats who had yet to sign the discharge petition so there had to be a LOT of Republicans telling him to move this forward.
  4. Narrator: because enough were willing to sign the discharge petition that he had to move it forward (especially after what had transpired over the last several weeks in Ukraine and the attack on Israel by Iran). Iran's attack on Israel was likely the last straw.
  5. Give more than your tribute cut to da boss and he'll like you more and maybe even do a campaign stop there (in between court dates).

    USMNT 2024

and Haji Wright is 7 million euros.
  7. (this was in context of a reply where someone suggested McKinnie go to Wrexham if things don't work out at Juventus) Putting this here since it's Wrexham-centric, but even Wright is likely out of their price range. His current salary at Coventry would be tied for the highest in League 1 (slightly over 1 million pounds) and according to Transfermarkt his transfer fee estimate is 7 million euros. He may be angling for a shot in the Premier League with how well he's been playing. Same for Sargent (who might be in EPL regardless if Norwich manages to get promoted). So even though Americans can be had at a discount I'm not sure that makes anyone who is USMNT first team eligible an option for them - at least as a permanent signing. It would have to be a loan for a guy who needs playing time and could help Wrexham push for promotion if they are in a position to do so. Any permanent types would have to be someone young like Tanner Tessman (who is cheap) or maybe an older guy like Tim Ream now that he's in the twilight of his career but can still play at a high level (just not EPL starter quality). This just gets back to my point that although they may be good enough right now to avoid relegation back to EFL 2 without much change they are going to have to pay significantly more than they have in the past in order to challenge for promotion to the Championship in just one year. 8. Translation: a team drafting later in the first wants him badly so is floating this to scare off teams who are picking earlier.
  9. Not really news to us but this guy got the actual documents: Texas agreement conditional on Oklahoma: Oklahoma agreement conditional on Texas:
  10. WWAAAAAHHH! I DON'T KNOW THE LAW!
  11. Here’s the situation with that:
  12. Twitter folks may be over-selling it a bit. there's a play by play on Threads has that Merchan noticed Trump's grumbling and then smacked him down. wasn't terribly dramatic. apparently they did.
  13. what happened is the challenge by his lawyers was denied.
  14. Dominion also settled with OAN previously and OAN admitted they were lying: the lawsuit against Fox News is still ongoing.
  15. MAGA fools getting owned as they try to bring up her arrest...that was crooked.
