Everyone needs to seriously temper their expectations for this guy.
Vanderbilt is a good team having a great season. I expect this to be a tough game - especially with our backup QB starting. If we play like we did against Kentucky then we lose by multiple scores.
However, I just can't get over the fact that if you simply reversed the resume's and it was Texas going on the road to Vandy that everyone would be calling this a "trap game" for Texas.
Vandy is going on the road after two big wins at home against two top 15 teams (LSU sucks but they were #10 at the time.)
This just screams "letdown." And nobody is really talking about it.
I think the pollsters are sleeping on Iowa. They're being unfairly punished for their 3 point loss in El Assico and are a victim of modest preseason expectations. If their QB doesn't get hurt they likely beat Indiana.
They get Oregon at home in a couple of weeks and then go to USC. They are more than capable of winning both of those and winning out.
good news is that all but one of our remaining games are at home. It's been six weeks since we last played a home game. That's nuts.
Those two teams are #1 ranked Ohio State and #18 Oklahoma and both were away from home (road and neutral). Lots of teams haven't played anything like that in spite of our garbage home schedule.
Idiots.
Dak has a potential HOF career if he played with a less dysfunctional franchise. The only places definitely worse are Cleveland and the Jets.
If he played for Denver we’d have hung 60 on your shitty defense today and would probably be undefeated.
