  1. I like him much better already.
  2. For those making the "We're number 65/69!" comments, Marshall just beat Green Bay for the CIT championship. What the hell number are they?
  3. What's he gonna do, hit me with his car?
  4. If you're a CBB coach and you don't want your program to move to the ACC, you're a wimp.
  5. To be fair, if you win the NIT, you're somewhere around #40.

  7. They undersold the best part, when her singing performance at the Gathering of the Juggalos turned the crowd into an angry mob bent on killing her. https://music.avclub.com/when-juggalos-attack-a-firsthand-account-of-the-tila-t-1798221371
  8. UT has big money donors, UH has big money donor.
  9. Oh my god, that block and save!* *out of bounds
  10. My guess for the $650 is Zion of course, but also VA Tech is playing in its first-ever sweet 16 in the metro where most of their grads live.
  11. Yeah, I think we're already there, and have been there for quite a while.
  12. As a comedian I saw who was also a Johns Hopkins grad student once said: Sociology is really psychology, psychology is really biology, biology is really chemistry, chemistry is really physics, physics is really math, and math is really east Asian studies.
  13. I swear 90% of the use those labs get is for pre-employment drug tests.
  14. At least on paper, McKie sounds very solid.
  15. PSA: The Temple-Belmont game on TruTV is tied at 46 with around 14 minutes left. Pretty good game.
  16. The list of bids by conference, excerpted below, leads to some observations: There seems to be a Power 6 in MBB, and the PAC-12 is not part of it. The two conferences that split out of the Big East are, though. CUSA is crap now, as their one bid going to a former CAA team shows. They have not gotten more than one bid since Memphis left, including regularly getting their regular season champ snubbed. The A-10 also looks to be suffering from recent defections and call-ups of weaker programs. The Missouri Valley is quite a bit weaker since the departure of Wichita State and Creighton, and may have become a regular 1 bid league. The MVC was rated as high as the 6th best conference during the first decade of the 2000s and received 2-4 bids throughout most of that decade. The B1G always gets 1-2 too many bids, leaving them ripe for the perception of an NCAA tournament flop. Despite Texas' omission, this is the first year I didn't think there was some great injustice as far as any teams being left out. https://sports.yahoo.com/2019-ncaa-tournament-bid-breakdown-012025261.html
  17. Nope, Buffalo pulled away late. Unless I'm missing something, the MAC is by far the best conference that only ever gets one bid.
  18. Nope, but they have a stupid mascot anyway.
  19. And freaking USD?!? Is admission there even a big deal?
