  2. Grandfather used to have this on the regular. @Knoxtnhorn
  3. I can fully attest to the droning on part. There have been times when I walked away not realizing she was still talking to me. I thought topic was covered....
  4. Just gave in and ordered one from HD. Doesn't arrive until the 30th, but I will post pics asap!
  5. My wife got me this for Christmas Sent from my SM-A515U using Tapatalk
  6. Well, don't know where the stupid husband thread is. But since I'm put her on here a few times. I should fess up. Other night, I cooked some fajitas in my cast iron skillet. Afterword, the dogs wouldn't leave the skillet alone, so I put it outside on the patio. She said "You're drinking, so your going to forget it's out there and it's going to rust." Me "Trust me honey. There is no way I would forget to leave literally my favorite cook tool outside on the patio to get ruined." So anyway, I went to check on the chickens this morning, and now I have a cast iron skillet hidden in the shed until my wife is gone long enough for me to reseason it....
  7. Ah yess..... Last place. My strategy is working just as planned...
  8. When my wife was pregnant, she would dip the oreos in semi melted mint chocolate chip ice cream.

  12. How long ago was that? I went to college in Natchitoches and went to black lake a few times. Back in the late 90's
  13. Seriously, it's pretty hard to distinguish whether it was the best meal ever or if it was just my first time trying something. But Muffuletta in NO when I was around 10. First time I ever had a rare well marbled rib eye come to mind. But, hands down. - Raw oysters in Appolacacola Bay - boat was pulling up to the dock to unload for the day and I gave the guy $20 for a dozen or so and ate them right there on the dock.
  14. Some yall a little little too fancy for me Sent from my SM-A515U using Tapatalk
  15. This thread has delivered with LULZ. Fully what I was expecting, so I was cool with the jokes on here. But, I have had a few backhanded comments and outright "WTF" moments with people in real life. And that sucks

  21. I'm not a fan of Roma Tomatoes either. Whatever you choose on those, make sure they're really ripe. And maybe cut the core out if it has any green that you can see. Send pics when you can
  22. Outside of the first game of the year and Texas/OU. This is my favorite college football game
  23. Okay. This will sound strange. The tomato makes the sandwich. You want good bread from the deli (I got sourdough from a bakery in Denton). Duke's Mayo - Don't skimp on this. Fresh crunchy romaine and about 4-6 slices of thick cut bacon, also from the deli. Baking the bacon at 425 for about 15 minutes gets you nice flat slice. Toast the bread with some of the bacon grease on it. But the Tomato - Try and get a heirloom tomato that feels like it's about to go bad. As in a kid should be able to easily squeeze it into tomato sauce. Put a little kosher salt on top of the sliced tomato about 5 minutes beforehand. Then a little pepper. I also sometimes add some sort of Hot Sauce too
