  1. Surprised Belichick didn't take the pts on that 4t
  2. The Raiders played KC on 9/15 and then didn't play another home game until 11/3 against Detroit... they are sitting at 6-6 right now. They also went to London in that month. No fucking excuses.
  3. Not offended, just amused/amazed you'd think SAS would be ANY kind of authority on this.
  4. Lol. Are you fucking kidding me? Stephen A Smith? NFL tapdancer extraordinaire?
  5. Don't know. NFL's never done anything like this before. But from reports there were about 3.
  6. No, but you do go into a job interview in good faith right? It'd be like an employer on interview day asking for something completely out of left field, like a presentation you didn't get prepped for or the office looking/coming off completely unprofessional. You'd think to yourself "this employer doesn't have their shit together"...ie NFL. And if you knew ahead of time that interview was a waste of your time, you'd cancel it.
  7. There were no plans to film a commercial. Nike has already said they were not planning to be at the Falcon's facility. On Friday Kaepernick was told his crew was not going to be allowed to film. IMO the NFL (ie Jay Zs rock nation) were trying to show face by "giving him a chance to show his talent". After not talking formally since Feb they offer up a date which almost no NFL execs would be available to attend. So I can see why he gave them a big FU.
  8. I totally agree. I'm actually a fan of Morgan, but he had a lot of haters near the end.
  9. Jon Miller and Joe Morgan haven't done play by play together in like 10 years.
  10. A few reasons people can't stand Joe Buck: Silver spoon lineage of announcing and essential fast track to the national stage. Homerisn - especially early in his career for the Cardinals, but mostly just sucks off any favored team in a big game/series. His (at times) obvious distaste for baseball; pace of the game, lack of emotion during big moments, his lack of nuance for the games within the game No signature calls -- he literally takes pride in "letting the moment" play out because he thinks it's cool... but in reality he has nothing of substance to say. Joe Buck is awesome if you like buying your khakis at Target.
  11. I mean QBR had Ryan Fitzpatrick ahead of Tom Brady in 2015. But yea, screenshot your espn app stat line like an adult.
  12. Museum of Craft and Design in dogpatch is pretty cool, and you could get through it in an hour or so. Others are: Walt Disney Family Museum. Museum of African Diaspora. & Land's End for some cool walks along the coastline and light hiking.
  13. Wynkoop is whatever. Your better off at Great Divide or 10 barrell.
  14. i can't wait to see our special teams field the inevitable onside kick.
  15. This was average Chappelle but that's better than most. He's obviously a tired of his standup audiences and was looking to finish out his Netflix obligation with a big FU. A lot of his material felt recycled, restated. His Jussie Smolae and school shooting bits were fantastic but only a fraction of the entire special. At least another years until his next go round.
  16. Damn shame but they still have 3 timeouts
  17. Not having the yellow first-down line on this broadcast is weird.
  18. Prejudice, bias, and racism are all different things my man. Clearly you don't know the difference.
  19. Finally just saw it last night. I thought it was excellent. I've always appreciated the small details Tarantino puts into his movies. I loved the Antonio Marghareti thread from IB and the resetting of 60's Hollywood theaters and restaurants. I even appreciated how he subtly paid hommage to Mexicans in the service industry in LA -- essentially referencing their exclusion from Hollywood: ALL valets in the movie, the kind movie theater manager, stage crew, and the very small parts in westerns at that time. My family has been in LA since the 20's; Hollywood strikes an interesting chord with the Mexican-American community there.
  20. Yup, I've done it. Seems like a swell idea at first, but I think you'll realize quickly they're two activities you'd rather do separately.
  21. Sacramento is the biggest farm to fork city in the US, I believe. Some great meals to be had. I grew up in the central valley and have had the pleasure when I go back to visit my folks: Brunch - Tower Cafe Burgers and Brews - Burgers & Brews Tacos - Taqueria Rincon Alteño (going to and from the airport) Californian - Red Rabit Kitchen They also have a great arcade/bar/pizza joint called the Coin-OP. Be sure to check out the capital mall and walk around Old Sac as well. Enjoy!
