  1. If the A&M equivalent of Collins was visiting Texas for the spring game, we would assume he was just doing it to recruit against us.
  2. Not sure. Bobby Duncum Jr died in 2000, but this kid could be a nephew named after him or something. Not many Duncums out there in the world.
  3. Thanks, guys. I’m like the Ric Flair of homer calls.
  4. Our go-tos: Nothing Hill Crazy Stupid Love Forgetting Sarah Marshall
  5. I hate that because there is a good chance he never plays again. I really can't see anyway that he doesn't have some issues from this long-term. I'm no doctor, but I've just never seen it. Any doctors in here?
  6. A lot of decisions Herman made along the way were made because of culture, and many weren’t popular with fans. However, he stuck to his guns and here we are. We all wondered why Chris Warren wasn’t playing over Porter. Warren was a lazy piece of shit that didn’t work his ass off and wouldn’t block for others. Warren completely mails in a block on a QB Lead against USC on a pivotal short yardage play, and he sits the rest of the game with an “eye injury” (if memory serves me correct). Collin Johnson sat for stretches of games (K State last year?) while lesser talented players were getting key snaps. We bitched and moaned, but Herman stuck to his plan. The end result? We got what we got this year from Collin Johnson and LJH. They both stand to make a lot more money because of it, too. It’s hard for coaches to discipline or “tough love”. We, as fans, say we want tough love, but we bitch and moan when we see it in action (OK State game). I’m glad that Herman stuck to his guns. We all should be, and we all probably owe him at least a little slack on the next questionable personnel decision.
  7. I think the McCafe version might be a good fit, because they have the larger hole in the plastic dome and you can use it like a fleshlight.
  8. You can. Go to "Player Search" and under the space where you type their name there is an option for "Recruitment Filters". Searching by high school is one of the options.
  9. Married? Huh, I figured you for a high school kid or college freshman by the way you post (lingo and bravado). Way wrong on that one.
  10. In all fairness, I would expect your MLB type to be near the top of that next slowest group, along with QB (sometimes), TEs, and Kicker/Punter. It's not as damning as it might seem. I would thoroughly expect our RBs and WRs to be faster than him. I'm not trying to say he will be a good player for the Horns, but another factor at LB to evaluate is reaction time to a read. Malik Jefferson could have outrun 90% of the roster, but his slow reactions to the play developing resulted in him catching a lot of blocks. As I said, he might be Demarco Boyd. He might be Anthony Wheeler. I just don't think it's safe to write him off just yet.
  11. I know it's different positions, but a lot of people talked about how LJH would never be able to put on muscle and weight because of his small waist.
  12. Jason Shelley was one of the best natural baseball players I have ever seen, and a fantastic kid. Wish nothing but the best for him.
  13. My 80 year-old aunt raised Puncher girls. Sherley Poston.
  14. I heard it just yesterday. “With Alabama and LSU paying players, we just can’t compete...
  15. Yeah, I’m the same way, and I have been for a while. It happened before my son got a concussion, but seeing what he went through made it even clearer. Seeing my son at the dinner table crying because of the headache, seeing him take twice as long to do homework, seeing him not wanting to go outside because of the light, it was rough. I don’t wish that on any kid or parent.
  16. All of us. I never, ever thought Cosmi could play. I held out hope that Polley could. Cosmi totally fooled me, and I’ll eat that crow.
  17. I stated many times in the Fire Tim Beck thread how their offensive and defensive rankings were eerily similar, and that a case could be made that Beck was better. Of course, I was belittled.
