  1. Use stream east dot io for stars games. It works well, and can be airplayed if you’re into all that.
  2. Yeah, that one will get cleared up pretty quickly I bet. I have been a YTTV user since just about the beginning and mostly love it. It knows when it’s time to watch F1!
  3. Hey, it’s the precursor precursor precursor precursor to Mercedes F1!
  4. That reference is from the 2021 regs. Check the 2022 ones.
  5. It’s just time to change it up! Compounds are totally different, so it’s not really comparable. There will still be 5 dry compounds, intermediates, and wets. I hope the new inters and wets are much improved.
  6. Slight correction. The aero covers are designated as OSC (open source components), which means that their design specification and IP must be available to everyone though a common server. This is a new thing as an alternative to having a standard sourced component (SSC), which the wheels are. This means that they still build their own parts (or use their own chosen vendors), just to an open spec, and other teams can use those designs as well. If the FIA decide that they want to use the LED panels on the aero covers, those parts will become a standard sourced part. Other notable OSC components: DRS adjuster mechanism (they want to get rid of DRS hopefully anyway, so this makes sense). Drive shafts Wheel hubs Steering column Steering wheel (will become SSC in 2023) Brake calipers, master cylinder, and pads
  7. The tires themselves are the same width (305 front, 405 rear), but are 60mm taller (720mm).
  8. They are mandated for all, and the wheels AND covers are all a spec design. Same for everyone.
  9. They are still relatively low profile for a tire that has to endure what they do. Pretty similar to an LMP1 slick in profile :
  10. The aero covers for the 2022 tire/wheel combo makes them look like steelies.
  11. Chainbear is awesome but his channel name causes me great consternation. Such a weird one.
  12. I had Rodgers offered to me for basically peanuts in my 10 team, and I took it, originally planning on flipping him. Pretty glad I decided to keep him now, since he’s been the better play over Lamar the past several weeks, even on that fucked up toe.
  13. Yes. I like George. The Imola incident made a poor impression, but he will mature. He needs to work on his race pace, but he’s a great qualifier, obviously.
  14. I have been actually wondering what I’d like to do once Lewis retires. It would be an interesting perspective to have “no” driver, but I think I will start from a total clean slate and be an Oscar Piastri fan.
  15. Depends on the person, but most are a little of both. I was a Lewis fan but then obv became a Mercedes fan when he went there, and I like how they do their race debriefs and other videos on their YouTube channel. They look like the empire sometimes, but it’s a very well-run culture over there. Tifosi (Ferrari fans) are crazy, but they are passionate for sure.
  16. It was a private event with no cameras/video allowed, so it sounds like they want to find the source of the leak.
  17. Hell it wasn’t even that long ago when Seb told Charlie to fuck off. Drivers say weird shit when in the car. Kimi is an outright asshole and gets praised for it. None of it bothers me either way.
  18. Andrew Jarvis. Max’s is Gianpiero Lambiase.
  19. Weird comment. I’m a huge Lewis fan. So is Vicerous. Goofy too, of course. Vicerous and I used to post a lot more on the old threads on Shaggy (I was RottenBananas then). I generally like the entire grid aside from Max. I do respect Alonso a ton but he’s not my thing. I think the grid has a shitload of talent on it right now.
  20. Also, this is really damn cool that your kid is karting.
  21. Lol, we were both editing our posts at the same time.
  22. No, but you made it seem like anyone who has followed the sport for a long time doesn’t like him, like all of his fans are new or something. If you’d have said *some* people, sure. I see what you were getting at, though.
  23. I’d say that is pretty false. There are tons of us who have followed him since McLaren.
