  1. That makes sense. Easy to do it in post and not have to worry about it in the field. Nothing wrong with that at all. Different means to the same end. I always forget about colored filters.
  2. Nice! And yeah, Ferrania is super high contrast defined, for sure. I will probably expose for a lighter gray when I shoot it next (somewhat limited on the in-camera meter, though). Meant to ask; are you using a CP on the sky in your shots that feature a lot of it (where it shows up very dark)?
  3. I’m waiting for this livery.
  4. I think that is awesome as hell.
  5. Mostly a livery reveal.
  6. I have a Mamiya RB67. I haven’t used it a ton cause it is pretty bulky, but it is awesome. Naija has one or two. I think a Fuji rangefinder and maybe a Mamiya RZ? I can’t remember. Looking back, I don’t have any meaningful shots with it. Pretty much all of them are test shots, to test my film backs and experiment with close focusing and exploring the camera. I brought it to Utah last year and tried some Velvia 50, but I didn’t get good results from that. Here’s a few boring photos (sorry). I missed focus on some these too, since it can be tricky on the RB, and the lenses have a ring on the front for a floating element that I sometimes forget to adjust for maximum sharpness. These can have incredibly thin DoF so you gotta be careful. I need to use the thing more. Tank.
  7. Just watched this video. Man, it is awesome.
  8. The Aston and Merc are a lot less similar looking from the front. Different focal length and perspective here, but still. They’re similar concepts, but different executions.
  9. The photography plan. Just know that it will lock you in for a year, even though it’s $9.99 a month.
  10. да здравствует Россия!
  11. He did for a while, but I believe moved back to the LA area a few years ago.
  12. I do the same when I drive 287 in the panhandle. I want to stop, but I have a destination. One of these days.... Jason Lee (the skater/Clerks/My Name Is Earl Guy) actually has a large format photo book with some pictures taken in that corridor. https://www.jasonleefilm.com/a-plain-view-slideshow Lots are just okay, but pretty cool.
  13. Man, the old Ford truck Inline-6 hood emblem is much cooler than the V8 one.
  14. It looks like a damn W12 II. I like it though. Looks fast.
  15. That airbox is chunky as hell. Also, they didn’t go the sloped sidepod route and are using an undercut only. It’s only a render though so I guess we will see. Looks like a modern day Ligier JS5 with that airbox and upper engine cover though.
  16. It’s like on the Foxbody Mustang. You had to know how to open the door the right way with those handles.
  17. ISAW may be my favorite Miles. It’s this or the Prestige albums.
  18. Get a few of those stick on blind spot mirrors, and make sure to adjust the normal mirrors to where they start where the body ends, and you’ll be good. Backup camera is good, too. I have a later model that has a factory one, luckily. And yeah, it definitely is plenty large enough for the driver. More room than in a GX, too, in my experience.
  19. Ok, I lied, there is one Ford badge on the back the baby Bronco.
  20. It got everyone talking about it. I believe they want to make it a brand, like they are with Bronco (there is no Ford branding anywhere on either of them).

    Vinyl

Same. Think I have now bought from France twice, Amsterdam, and the UK like 3 or 4 times. There are a lot of really good Dutch sellers.
  22. No. The FJ will still crunch if you hit a concrete wall. I am just saying that they are really well-built and designed. Also assembled at the Hino truck plant in Japan.
  23. Also, that dude in the Fort Worth pileup got smashed at speed by a semi in his FJ, rammed into a 2500, flipped, and landed in the opposite lane, and walked away from the accident. Incredible. Just sayin.
