  1. Pretty much my reaction. I don’t know what is going on, but I am intrigued.
  2. I wish I got out as much as Swayze does. I don’t think I’m that bold, though, to go the places you do.
  3. You guys with smartphones, if you really enjoy it, I cannot recommend a DSLR or mirrorless camera enough. Take that next step. It’s a really rewarding, congenial hobby.
  4. I agree with quality over quantity, and while I am MUCH more accepting of DRS than wood is, man, just imagine some of these tracks WITHOUT DRS. We might have like 4 overtakes at Monza, total. Hell, Sainz was a shitload faster than Gasly was last year at Monza and still couldn’t get it done with DRS because of these cars. Don’t get me wrong, the Gasly win was awesome, but Carlos was in faster machinery and is a more talented pilot; he couldn’t pass because of physics, really.
  5. I have also been researching these “sites”. I have studied the available geological maps heavily, but I’m no expert. I had a few areas possibly pointed out that I wanted to check, but reading some other stuff this past week has me doubting that somewhat now. Maybe we can collaborate. Camp Neville Springs is near the large Cottonwood tree in the area due East of GH2/3. I haven’t been yet, but I know where it is. Definitely not a marked trail. I don’t really know anything about Apache Canyon.

Craft released their first one step style release similar to what MSFL does. They chose Lush Life by Coltrane. FOMO bit me hard on that one since they only did 1,000.

  9. A lot of people also try to compare it to MotoGP, but the problem there is that they have Marc Marquez. He got hurt in the first race, was out the entire year, and the rest of the season was basically a show of inconsistency by everyone else. It was really cool that Suzuki and Mir won, but the season was kind of a Tour de France type thing. Now, obviously in MotoGP the rider makes quite a big difference, but when Marc is riding, he’s pretty much guaranteed to win the championship every year, not unlike a Mercedes. Also, it obviously helps that my driver keeps winning, but I enjoy looking at the super high res photos of the updates to the cars every race just as much as anything else, because they are absolute works of art.
  10. Dunno how I missed this one. This thing has been with me across the entire southwest. Not old, but I’m at 123k with no signs of slowing down. Has 33s on it now. Would’ve done it earlier but the old set lasted nearly 60k.
  11. That’s a solid list. I own 20 of them, not bad. Was REALLY happy to see Back At The Chicken Shack in there. Midnight Special was recorded in the same session, if you want to hear more of that quartet. Fun fact: He’s wearing the same red shirt on both album covers, too. Song For My Father is really good, too. Glad to see it so high.
  12. Definitely not. He was expected to be the Alpine CEO, and Davide Brivio (in a shock move coming over from Suzuki in MotoGP) has been expected to be CEL of the F1 team, with Marcin Budkowski possibly being promoted to TP.
  13. It is technically in the state park, but both the original DOM and the movie DOM were etched before it actually became the state park.
  14. I came home today and luckily it was alright (via 118). A few iffy spots but nothing too bad, just had to go a bit slower. I did take 67 through San Angelo, though. I wasn’t going to touch I-20. There was still tons of snow on 385 and then 67 for a good while (was worse than anywhere on 118).
  15. Hell, you don’t even need to fight most of the time if you spec for netrunner and get the legendary ping quickhack. You can clear most areas without even entering them.
  16. I beat it last week and went with the Nomad ending. When it stuck me back at the end to continue the game on an old save, it was a save from around 76 hours (I’m at like 110 I think), so that sucks. It was the save from when I first went to the point of no return, but then starting doing a bunch of side stuff. When I went back, I guess it didn’t create another save for me. The rest of my saves were auto/quick saves so I lost everything else from after my 76 hour point that wasn’t part of an ending quest. I do, however, really enjoy the game.
  17. There’s a 5% buyers premium on BaT too, so just keep it in mind.
  18. The more service records the better, obviously, especially for the timing belt (though these aren’t super expensive to have serviced). Check for rust, check the ball joints, check for smooth shifting, and the rest is just a generic “make sure it all works”. If it’s 4WD, engage all of that to make sure it functions as well. If there aren’t any fluid change records and you do purchase it, change the fluid in the diffs and transfer case. It’s cheap and doesn’t need any special friction modifiers or anything. Also, I think that trans takes the Type IV fluid. You can exchange it, just don’t “flush” it (with a machine that applies pressure).
  19. Agree with this, though I have always been an Xbox person. I hate the PS controllers and their exclusives don’t really interest me. And yeah, Gamepass is an incredible value.
  20. The i3 uses a skateboard chassis like a Tesla, which isn’t exactly a ladder frame. It also has a CFRP monocoque, like a Formula 1 or LMP car. Breaking all kinds of barriers!
