  1. We got to have a better corner than Guilbeau.
  2. I thought that was a screen the way January got upfield so quick.
  3. Cons: * Arch’s sloppy mechanics. This seemingly came out of nowhere. It’ll be tough to win in Gainesville, Dallas, or Athens with that kind of inconsistency. * Pre-Snap movement. This was expected. Baker had a solid game, but he will hear from Flood. * Offensive game plan, Patrica took Sarks lunch money. Arch couldn’t hit the lay ups, probably threw a wrench is some things. * RedZone. Insane calls. How is this still a thing? * Teams will draw up shots at Guilbeau, he looks like the weak link in the secondary. * Penalties continue to hurt this team enough to lose games. OSU’s only legitimate drive was the result of two third and long penalties. Pros: * Arch is a big physical mother fucker and he showed he could make big time throws. There’s a lot to like there, I just hope the lights aren’t too big for him. * CJ. Who would have thought he could give us those kind of snaps in Week 1. He was running over Buckeyes every snap. The explosion is not quite there yet, but he wasn’t slow. * Offensive Line. As a unit; they had a solid day. They were adequate in pass protection and they looked like the best Texas ground game line in years. * LBs. Ant had a quiet day on the broadcast but I seen him blowing stuff up constantly. Lefau has always been a dog in the trenches and yesterday was no different. * TE. Jack came down with everything. He was giving his all in the run game too. * Littleton. It’s crazy that he was one of the last guys in the 2025 class, I don’t think anyone had expectations for him. He was flying around man. He can accelerate and he’s got good size. Dude played his first college game against NFL receivers and held his own. * Defensive Line. Maybe not as disruptive as lines of years past. No one is running these guys over though. Add On anything I Missed.
  4. I’m not going to lie, today was concerning. A third year QB missing check downs. The little twink at OSU hit his check downs. We got a month to see if Arch can get it together.
  5. Bobby & them are still bullshitting around the Goosby injury. “Gametime decision”. I’m curious if Stroh got the nod at guard because Neto is going at LT. if thats the case, run the fucking rock all day.
  6. QB reminds me of Quinn. His big ass definitely could have stepped out of that sack.
  7. I feel like voice over hype videos went out of style about a decade ago. That Undertaker video does get me hyped because I see the team working hard n shit, but is the voice over narrative necessary? It was written similarly to some of the bs you guys come up with. There’s always a nerd who writes a limerick prior to be a big game as well.
  8. Surely he isn’t speaking about this Sonny Styles that Jaydon Chatman threw out the club.
  9. Raiola is a creep, his mannerisms on the field are so similar to Mahomes. Hes not nearly the talent though.
  10. Can someone explain to me why it’s the consensus belief that our run defense will be on par to the previous two seasons? Not doubting at all, just genuinely curious. Murphy, Sweat, Collins, and Broughton were all extremely disruptive. All were drafted relatively high. Do we think that our current room is of that quality, or is the idea we will manufacture that production through sheer depth/fresh bodies? I’ve watched tape of Cole and Travis. Cole is huge and has a great motor. Travis is twitched up and explosive, maybe not consistent due to injury. I don’t know what we have with January but he appears to be developing well. We lost Sorrell who was a rock in the run game, I think the belief here is that Ethan Burke will provide a similar presence. Do we think Simmons will play the run better than Trey Moore did? Hill & Lefau are demons in the gaps, I suspect that’ll remain the same. Norton & Lole were solid, one made an NFL practice squad and the others playing days appear to be over. I think the additions of Shaw, Brevard, and Kanu appear to be upgrades to the depth. I think we take a step back in the front line interior though. Just thinking out loud.
  11. If our 4th team Maryland Transfer DT did this coming off an injury, it does raise concern. I’m excited to see what he can do against Houston, none of our DTs are that twitched up.
  12. I feel bad about posting that photo of the Maryland transfer swimming Stroh to the ground like a Matador. Hopefully it was just a rare misstep.
  13. I don’t think any of those points are all that relevant to this matchup. Michigan was basically handicapped on one side of the ball with two terrible QBs. Also their DC Martindale played right into Sark’s/Quinn’s hands with his Cover 2 looks, almost working exclusively out of Man/Cover2. Which is just incompetent because there was so much data out on Quinn at that point, his QBR was on average 30+ points higher versus C2. I think that’s why you seen Quinn look probably as comfortable on tape then any other game at Texas, he was confident in what he was seeing.
  14. Let Neto observe some Bob Stoops Era OU game tape. They’re not going to toss the flag everytime.
  15. Who fucking knows. The only confirmed player out is Cojoe. There’s half a dozen banged up guys that no one knows anything about. We’ll see if Sark gives an update on who is available on Monday.
  16. It’ll be fine, only one has gone down for the season. By the time we head to Gainsville, we’ll have four legitimate tackle options. Considering no one else goes down. That’s more than most programs I’d say. Notre Dame went into Aggy last year with a freshman guard at left tackle and another freshman playing right next to him at LG. Texas can scheme around one backup. It might be ugly, but I suspect both offenses will look ugly next Saturday.
  17. Who’s getting that start though? If Chatman can’t go, do you slide Baker to the left side and start the freshman on the right side? Can Cole play tackle? You could start Robertson at C. Those combos might be good enough to win. Arch’s legs will prevent their front from pinning their ears back. I still think we beat their ass. Notre Dame & Ohio State dealt with similar problems prior to the season last season and look where they ended up. I think Notre Dame started a freshman guard and LT vs Aggie.
  18. Apparently. If so, my fault. Unaware.
  19. Did he have a knee op in the offseason the public doesn’t know about? I thought that was Shaw.
  20. Chatman is one of the more athletic guys on the line, probably top 3. He’s in his third year. He has played quite a bit in mop up duty. He has faced some of the best pass rushers in the country all year long. I could think of shittier situations. Is plugging him in at LT your best five though?
  21. If Sayin is really 5’11ish, he probably won’t be able to see the middle consistently, if he even had the green light to go there. Ohio State needs to successfully run the ball and take low risk shots.
  22. I may be wrong here, but I don’t recall Chatman ever having knee surgery. When was this? Dude even played fullback some against Ohio State, he looked nimble as fuck in space. He murdered Sonny Styles on the goal line. Bad part is the whole left side whiffed their blocks.
  23. The way Bobby continues to be all cryptic towards the Goosby injury, I’m just going to assume he’s not playing. I think Chatman is more than capable of holding down that spot. I’m not saying he’ll be lockdown, but he wont get ran through. Also he may be just as good as Goosby in the run game.
  24. This guy? Hopefully it doesn’t come to that.
