  1. Switched over to FOX seconds ago and caught Pee Wee German bleeding from the eyes and squealing like a pig about how dangerous presumptive VP Walz is. That guy just looks crazy. Geez.
  2. Mommala has gotten appreciably better on the stump.
  3. Politically, it’s poor Texas.
  4. I think a lot of parents have warmed to the idea of sending their kids to schools that don’t have to accept “problem kids.” If they can get help from the state to send their kids to Prestonwood, Jesuit or Midland Classical, then all the better. Who cares that public schools must carry the weight that privates could care less about.
  5. The nation’s collective yawn to this stunning piece of reporting proves that the boiling pot of water has finally killed us frogs:
  6. Pavlovitz is awesome. I’m planning to jump on this call and check it out.
  7. We’re mere hours from knowing her selection.
  8. A thorough balanced assessment exercise would reveal strengths and weaknesses in each of these qualified candidates. The more I watch Walz’s rather beguiling way of persuasion, the more I like him. I really like how he calls out Trump for speaking so negatively about the country he wants to lead. That said, I’m prepared to support whomever she chooses.
  9. (Sorry. Got interrupted.) As Trump ramps up the race talk, the price to take smoke from black people increases dramatically. This is probably the best time to be a grifting biscuit because the GOP is paying top dollar. The earlier post that referenced “non dominants” should have read “dominants” instead. My bad.
  10. I mostly agree, although I think they’re more cynical than it appears. They correctly assess the degree to which they can be valuable to non dominants who traffic in race hatred by being willing mouthpieces for their beliefs, while making bank at the same time. As Trump ramps
  11. Colin can’t depend on the blues and independents to turnout in numbers large enough to neutralize rural Texas. His advisers appear to be banking on him being perceived as a good, competent, not scary Dem who won’t embarrass the state before the world.
  12. You should have asked him who his two senators are and watch the blank stare on his face.
  13. Sorry, GOP. Too late for him to switch parties.
  14. Again, he seems to be afraid to commit to trying to energize prospective voters while trying not to offend voters who are not likely to vote for him. It’s a losing strategy at a time when the election for him is most winnable.
  15. I’m surprised by how triggered they are by being called weird. Dems should not be bullied into letting up. Call their weird asses weird every chance you get.
  16. I’m taking all this to mean that Rogan was not on the white dudes call?
  17. Y’all can have Dallas’ turncoat mayor.
  18. Then why won’t Trump simply own something that is tailor made for him?
  19. These successful negotiations serve only to underscore the importance of global alliances with other democracies. Trump could not have achieved this in a hundred years.
  20. I think her more nuanced views on health care have been mischaracterized: https://abc7chicago.com/post/kamala-harris-on-health-care/15084363/ Harris has previously expressed support for a single-payer health care system, sometimes referred to as "Medicare for All." Although she initially indicated during a 2019 presidential campaign debate that she would support eliminating private health insurance, Harris walked back her support and instead unveiled her own health care plan. It called for expanding Medicare access to all Americans and setting up a 10-year transition period that would automatically enroll newborns and the uninsured, allowing doctors time to enter the system and help employers choose from federally designated programs. The plan also preserves a role for private insurance companies, allowing Americans the option to obtain health insurance through the public Medicare plan or through a Medicare plan offered by a private insurer.
  21. She’s pretty damn good if she could trick black law students at Hastings into voting her president of their organization. And how the hell did she finagle her way into the Congressional Black Caucus?
  22. Well, Einstein genius and scholar, Melania obviously got a pass after slithering around naked on her way to the White House.
  23. This “ she ain’t black” line of attack has to be the most ill conceived, dumbest, tone deaf political tactic ever. Who does he think will buy this bullshit?
  24. She said all that to say that what happened to Sonya Massey at the hands of police should never happen.
