  1. Why does Richard Grenell have a pic of Maryland Governor, Wes Moore in his lament about Cameron?
  2. Or you going to jail for driving your kid to the doctor. Take our country back, Dems!
  3. In other news, water is wet. Now, he’s gonna have to run for Congress: https://www.yahoo.com/news/family-values-republican-candidate-arrested-183622073.html The Republican candidate for a Texas city council was arrested just hours before Election Day on federal child pornography charges. Brad Benson, who was running for the Granbury City Council, was arrested at his home Monday morning. Benson was a small-business owner and the deputy fire marshal for the town, which is southwest of Fort Worth. “I can confirm he was arrested by the District Attorney’s Office yesterday and charged with two felony child pornography charges,” Hood County Sheriff Roger Deeds told Newsweek on Tuesday.
  4. Mere coincidence. Per John Roberts, racism is over and done with.
  5. Is this an acknowledgment that the state has been derelict in its duty to adequately fund higher Ed and has put the majority of its schools in non competitive situations when it comes to hiring high quality faculty? I would love to hear our legislators explain the motivations for change.
  6. Mu most honest opinion of Knight is he was no hypocrite because the expectations for personal behavior he set for himself and others were so high, he was never able to meet them.
  7. Is Tommy Tuberville the Most Ignorant Man in D.C.? Yes. https://www.yahoo.com/news/tommy-tuberville-most-ignorant-man-130226405.html
  8. Well, it’s important to remember that Senator Jugs has a different view of our governmental structure: “Our government wasn’t set up for one group to have all three branches of government — wasn’t set up that way,” Tuberville continued, saying incorrectly: “You know, the House, the Senate, and the executive.”
  9. And woefully underfunded universities not in the UT and aggy systems.
  10. All four of the professional teams in North Texas are now on the board. Awesome!
  11. Late night celebratory libation of Uncle Nearest here.
  12. Ranger Danger. Unbelievable!
  13. There’s not a person alive who believes Jugs’ obstruction is rooted in any kind of moral principle. He’s just a mean old dumb hillbilly from Itchy Hill, Arkansas who is punching way above his weight. You can watch the GOP Senators seething with anger live on C-SPAN during the WS commercial breaks.
  14. I think it’s fair to say that most Americans no longer pretend to have an ethical compass. (See Santos and Menendez)
  15. You may be correct, but if true, there will never be peace in ME.
  16. More evidence that we undermine support and belief in our own government and its institutions.
  17. A two state solution which all sides agree to would be a tremendous development.
  18. An Israel Defense Forces statement said the strike on Jabalia, Gaza's largest refugee camp, had killed Ibrahim Biari. It said he was a ringleader of what it called the "murderous terror attack" on Oct. 7. Palestinian health officials said at least 50 Palestinians were killed in the refugee camp blast and 150 wounded. Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem denied any senior commander there and called the claim an Israeli pretext for killing civilians. A Hamas statement said there were 400 dead and injured in Jabalia, which houses families of refugees from wars with Israel dating back to 1948. Reuters could not independently verify the reported casualty figures. The blast left large craters in a rubble filled area surrounded by wrecked concrete buildings. Israel has sent repeated warnings to Gaza residents to evacuate northern areas and while many have gone south, many have not. https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/hamas-says-it-fires-israeli-troops-pressing-gaza-ground-assault-2023-10-31/
  19. Good: https://news.yahoo.com/finally-senate-democrats-coming-clarence-155843128.html Senate Democrats have finally taken the first steps to address the ethics crisisrocking the Supreme Court. The Senate Judiciary Committee announced Monday that it will seek to subpoena Republican billionaire megadonor Harlan Crow and ultraconservative activist Leonard Leo. Both men feature prominently in the ethics scandal for their relationships with Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito. The committee will also seek to subpoena wealthy GOP donor Robin Arkley II. “The Supreme Court is in an ethical crisis of its own making,” the committee said in a statement. “In order to adequately address this crisis, it is imperative that we understand the full extent of how people with interests before the Court are able to use undisclosed gifts to gain private access to the justices.” All three men have so far either refused to cooperate with the committee’s investigation or offered to share an insufficient amount of information. The committee could authorize the subpoenas after a vote as soon as next week
  20. Once the opposition coalesces, the blowback will be national .
  21. Are you asking a question that you think you know the answer to?
  22. Really?
  23. How could anybody not include the lack of a two state solution as a causal factor in the ongoing violence in the region?
