It’s told us that for awhile. Sub 40 polling changed the plan.
I’m not going to complain too loudly when the delay errs on the side of caution.

You think the dem about face on mask mandates is because of science or polls?
Why not both?
Omicron has changed the science and it polls well to go with the science here.

I guess I’ve been lucky with my Whataburger stops for the last few months. The last one between Houston and San Antonio I’ve tried was the one in Schulenberg. App worked and our food was ready on time.

We drive from Houston to Fayetteville quite often.....sadly, our relationship with the Whataburger in Columbus is over after 30 or so visits the last few years.
They were always slow but the last few times, it has taken much much longer with the added bonus of biting into lukewarm burgers. If you take a long time, a requirement is to give me hot food. But it's clearly operational issue in that they likely make the burgers quickly but order sits there for many minutes and finally handed to us.
The Sealy Whataburger is cleaner and slightly faster but its not as convenient from an on/off freeway perspective.....and they got our order wrong this past trip.
Get your head on right, private equity owners.
Have your passenger order from the app before your arrival - It's life changing. Pull into the Whataburger parking lot, enter store and walk-out with hot burgers in 5 minutes while laughing at the 10 cars in the drive through line.

That's awesome that your wife wants to live that lifestyle with you. I can barely get my wife to spend one weekend per year at our ranch which has a doublewide with satellite tv and internet. She's decided she can't live unless its within 50 miles of a grocery store.

Any information on the effectiveness of the booster as compared to only receiving the original 2 shot dosage as it relates to hospitalization/severe disease?
Just curious as I haven’t really seen anything on that yet.

uh, they passed that one already.
Yes they did but the manner in which it was passed made it look like a loss.
I have no idea what the Ds could do better with Manchin/Sienna trying to stop most things, but the public back and forth has taken what should have been a positive (infrastructure week actually happened) and turned it into a lukewarm message at best.

Yes - Chris Wallace is a known leftist. Your party is full of snowflakes, bitchasses and ditchpigs.

I mean, at some level, deep down, they have to know that they're playing make believe, right? Lone hero against the big bad establishment cosplay.

Social Media can really suck. These people have always been convinced that they are really smarter than all of the highfalutin eggheads with their advanced degrees. Now, they have a place where they can gather in mass and share their deep thoughts.

I decided to shoot some pigs yesterday afternoon and this morning instead of does. Go out this afternoon and the bucks chase off the only 2 does that show up. Try again tomorrow.

I took a rapid Covid test this morning which ended up positive. Wife’s test was negative so I’m taking one for the team and quarantining at the ranch for 10 days. I still need to take out a few does so it will be productive.

Do they just thread on and off with Teflon tape? Any tips for checking for leaks at the connections?
Soap and water solution on the connections. If it bubbles, you have a leak.

Another anecdote- MIL’s assisted living facility just tested its residents. 11 residents tested positive and 6 were ultimately hospitalized with all expected to recover. Fortunately MIL tested negative.
This is the only significant outbreak at her facility. I’m not sure how you could ever keep Omicron out of there without testing everyone at the door.

Son was exposed to multiple people testing positive at work this week. He gets to quarantine through New Years now.

Biden and W are at least functioning adults. TFG and his supporters are fucking toddlers.
Exactly - I remember when TFG had a meeting in the White House to thank doctors and nurses for their extraordinary efforts during COVID and immediately turned on a nurse when she pointed out they had some equipment shortages.

The man who fucked VY's career was Charley Casserly. Fuck that worthless POS. If that guy does what he's supposed to Jeff Fisher would have never had the chance and would have had 2 additional losses on his record every season VY was in the league.
I will always have the memory of VY shoving that decision up Casserly’s ass in OT his first year.

When someone votes based on what corporate donors own him, it’s a failure of democracy. His excuses that it costs too much was based on a made up situation. The majority of the bill has been tailored to him. He has no excuse at this point other than he’s bought and paid for and that’s the failure. All of the “temporary” programs should be scored in two ways:
1. based on the bills language which includes the expiration and
2. assuming the provision is made permanent.
It’s not a made up concern that the temporary provisions will be extended perpetually. In fact, that’s exactly what the bill’s proponents want.

And they need to be much higher. They also should bring in COLA adjustments. I make more because the cost of living is more. The feds shouldn’t get more of my income vs. someone in Texas. The system is very, very unfair to a lot of folks.
I disagree with this. You have chosen to live in a high cost location. That’s on you. There is no need for the federal government to subsidize those choices.
