  1. I was working at Caravan of Dreams when Razzoo's opened. Haven't been to the Sundance location since 1999 but have heard some bad reviews from friends who have. Usually go to Bryant Irvin once or twice a year and they do good work.
  2. Would that include freshly swept sheets?
  3. Good boy King. Having just gone through this responsible pet owner action, I will hold a good thought for you as you say goodbye to your sweet boy. He'll have Zeke, Bailey, Callie, and Magic there to greet him and you will have all of us who will sympathize with you.
  4. That would be closer to Sansom Park. And their Mexican food is some of the best in Tarrant County. I have been known to drive past ten Mexican restaurants on the Northside to go have their lunch offerings.
  5. Sorry to hear about that. Hope the dog gets better and is back to good health soon.
  6. Good boy Murphy! Your the apple of your daddy's eye so hang in there.
  7. Thanks for the link. Made a contribution and hope something positive comes out of this.
  8. Amazing how much their eyes match mine when I see a frosted pastry and glass of milk!!😄 Good puppies both.
  9. Damn, getting old is getting old!😀 Thanks for the correction.
  10. Never knew the ND quarterback was from Cedar Hill. Outside the red zone fumble, he was amazing and the team did just enough in all three phases to win the game. While Clemson was hamstrung by COVID quarantine for several starters, the Tigers came within 1:43 in regulation from being the winner. The 91 yard drive to tie it for ND, punctuated by the perfectly thrown deep ball, could not have been better orchestrated. While I was rooting for Clemson because of a friend's connection to the program, I came away very impressed by the effort ND gave and was reminded of what it was like to have a Texas team so many years ago playing and winning a matchup like this. Should they meet again the the ACC title game, I would expect Clemson to be at full strength and win the rematch.
  11. Terrible loss of life last night in my neighborhood. Street racing on Risinger road resulted in the death of a husband and wife along with one of the racers. Four children will not have their parents in their life because of this continual problem of speeding.
  12. Anytime it's less than 3 yards to go, I am taking the under today
  13. Good boy Murphy. My son and daughter in law adopted an amputee when he was eight years old. I can tell you that their experience and the times I spent with Jake were some of the most enjoyable, fun loving, laughable, and enriching memories. Deej is spot on-Jake never knew he had three legs and lived a great life for five years after being adopted. He crossed the rainbow bridge in March this year. Murphy has a good dad and I know he will live life to the fullest, bringing you joy in the process.
  14. You can never go wrong with this here.
  15. You mean the look of you'd see if it was your 105 year old grandparent-that 7 human years for 1 dog year thing is a beyotch!!
  16. Good on you deej. I bet you both have 15 years of great life today!
  17. Misery loves company my man! And considering how long that implant has stayed in my brain, I bet it has in yours as well, huh?
  18. Song implant from hell: Sometimes you feel like a nut, Sometimes you don't Peter Paul Almond Joys got nuts Peter Paul Mounds don't
  19. The Bell Beefer at Taco Bell was part of my four food groups-and in the 60's/70's, the Bell Burger made my top ten late night list.
  20. How can anybody be so unkind, to arrest a man who is driving while blind?
  21. This just in: NEGATIVE PCR for me so I am out of quarantine and gratefully going back to work tomorrow.
  22. WOW! It's getting very smoky in my living room after watching the video. Thanks for posting.
  23. Exposure. My boss doesn't wear a mask in meetings and was diagnosed on Tuesday of last week. Those of us who have been in meetings (all wearing masks) in our conference room were all tested and so far, nobody has come back positive. Thanks for the prayers.
  24. I'm on my fifth day of quarantine today. The benefit of this is that I get to remain on the 7am zoom meeting for the entire hour and hear just what I need just when I need it. On Friday I received a call from my daughter in law in California telling me my son is not doing well. He was diagnosed as manic depressive as a teenager and given medication to help him maintain a level of emotional balance. When I spoke with him, he was definitely not on his medication, threatening to end his life, and overall, in a downward spiral. In addition, he is one of us and has relapsed, stating that the program is not helping him deal with his mental illness. I encouraged him not to follow through with his threat but to get back on his medication and report to his medical provider what is going on. I spoke to my ex and her husband after the call ended and they want to fly out there and save him from himself. We agreed to wait until we heard from his provider on Monday what our response should be and then Saturday, her husband flew out there anyway. Thank God I have a program that let's me keep my mouth shut in times like these and constantly reminds me to accept the things I cannot change. At this moment, I am serene in the knowledge that the God of my understanding has this situation and am comforted in knowing that He is my source of strength in good times and bad. While I am sad and somewhat in fear, I am going to continue to do the next right thing by trusting Him, speaking/listening to the spiritual mentors I have been blessed with, and awaiting the result of my PcR regarding Covid-19. It is my sister's 67th birthday and I am going to facetime her in Boise to tell her how much I love and appreciate her. It's a good day to be sober-hell, any day that ends in y is! Say a prayer for Clark today if you get a chance. Thanks. Glad to be here not wanting a drink.
