  1. Again, a mere mortal against the GOAT, no shot.
  2. Went to Los Vaqueros new location on University for lunch today at 1pm. Never went into the location before LV became the new occupant. We were the only customers in the whole place from 1-2pm. The parking is limited to spaces available in the complex which could be a problem. Not sure this move from their former spot is going to work out. The meal was fine as usual, just concerned about lack of customers and limited parking maybe posing a problem. What say you people?
  3. Seemed like 4th and forever. You are correct sir!
  4. Well I'm sure Mack breathed a huge sigh of relief when it was 4th and 14 in 2004. Course, it didn't hurt to have the GOAT playing against mere mortals that day.

    DON"T . . . . . . . . .GO. . . . . . .THERE.
  6. What relief you must be feeling today.
  7. It was glorious in the day growing up listening to Kern Tipps and Connie Alexander broadcast the SWC games over the Humble radio network. But the end came when it should have and with the money driven budgets, it was the big dogs got fed while the others starved. Good article.
  8. Let the games begin-and make sure there is a thread covering the legal proceedings.
  9. Christmas came on December 3 this year. 2020 has sucked for 338 days in a row, but on the 339th day, Thujone gave us all something to smile and laugh about.
  10. Reminds me of my boy Zeke who we said goodbye to a couple of months ago, especially since everytime I cooked bacon or anything else for that matter, he was ALWAYS right there on the ready for taste testing. 😁
  11. So you're saying Mango got the Fuck Around & Find Out treatment from the old man?
  12. While growing up in Corpus, I was driving down the beach listening to the game with a couple of friends bemoaning what would end a 22 game winning streak for Texas. Connie Alexander was doing the broadcast of this game and when the pass was completed, and the three of us celebrated with copious amounts of alcohol. One of the best days in my then 18 year old life.
  13. This. +REP.
  14. How could that not make you smile????????? SO much personality!!
  15. I subscribe to my brother in law's blog and thought this week's offering might be helpful to some of us in light of the pandemic. Any other ideas regarding what you are planning in terms of celebrating at a distance would be appreciated. https://drpatesblog.com/2020/11/21/how-to-have-a-virtual-thanksgiving/
  16. The wife and I are both retiring at the end of December. We have both been on Keto previously and had good results. Looking forward to being able to sample some of these wonderful recipes while at home. Thanks for posting this thread.
  17. I'm retiring in January and will definitely be going to Lucia Falls as well as many other places in the pacific northwest. Willow looks like she is truly in her element in this picture. Good girl!
  18. I was working at Caravan of Dreams when Razzoo's opened. Haven't been to the Sundance location since 1999 but have heard some bad reviews from friends who have. Usually go to Bryant Irvin once or twice a year and they do good work.
  19. Would that include freshly swept sheets?
  20. Good boy King. Having just gone through this responsible pet owner action, I will hold a good thought for you as you say goodbye to your sweet boy. He'll have Zeke, Bailey, Callie, and Magic there to greet him and you will have all of us who will sympathize with you.
  21. That would be closer to Sansom Park. And their Mexican food is some of the best in Tarrant County. I have been known to drive past ten Mexican restaurants on the Northside to go have their lunch offerings.
  22. Sorry to hear about that. Hope the dog gets better and is back to good health soon.
  23. Good boy Murphy! Your the apple of your daddy's eye so hang in there.
  24. Thanks for the link. Made a contribution and hope something positive comes out of this.
  25. Amazing how much their eyes match mine when I see a frosted pastry and glass of milk!!😄 Good puppies both.
