    ULL is better than Ark.

We will know early if he is the right guy or not.    The only acceptable losses next year are to ousux.

Fuck that shit. There are no acceptable losses.

    I expect no less than:

    ULL - Win by 25+

    ARK - Win  by 20+

    Rice - Win by 40+

    Baylor - Win by 10+

    ISU - Win by 10+

    TCU - Win by 7+

KU - Win by 25+ (just like the basketball team)

    KSU - Win by 20+

    OU - Win

    OSU - Win

    Tech - Win by 10+

    WVU - Win by 15+

OU and OSU should be good next year with Rattler and Sanders. The rest of the schedule should all by winnable, and we should win most of those games by double digits.

    Show me a loss.

Convince me on Freeman. His work at Cincy was great this year. However, his resume is thin. To me, it is kind of an unknown how well he will do adjusting to the different offenses he will face in and out of conference. With Ash, you know what you are getting. With Freeman, it could just be flavor-of-the-month.

Freeman runs a 3-3-5 defense with smaller players. Are y'all sure you want to bring that here to Texas?

Sark should be happy with what he has to work with on offense and defense. The cupboard definitely isn't bare. I expect at least 7-8 wins in year one based on talent alone, and then we'll see how well he can adjust.

Are you even Surly, Bro? Anything less than 12 wins is a fucking Hindenburg level disaster

A 6'5, 240 Freshman in high school. He may grow out of football.

A friend's son was a 6'1 250 lb. O Lineman as a freshman in high school, with invites to camps from lots of power 5 schools.

Then he was a 6'1 260 lb. O Lineman as a sophomore, with a few power 5 camp invites.

Then he was a 6'1 265 lb. junior, with a few D1 offers from service academies, and ivy league schools.

He graduated at 6'1 270, and got a scholarship to a mid-major known more for academics than football.

Regarding Humphrey, I wonder if his dad is John Humphrey from the 90’s era Galveston Ball teams that were a state power and put numerous guys into college and the pros. That would mean Bobby Humphrey (Bama) is a relative and they have great bloodlines. I played against the dude that was at G-Ball and he was a fucking horse with the ball in his hands.

That's a whole lot of balls.

  6. Have all the chicken littles that were crying about the coaching search being a clusterfuck and not going according to their preferred schedule come back in off the ledge? Or are they now just waiting for new DL coach to be announced so they can proclaim this the worst coaching staff in D1 football?

That's why it was so stupid that Barry Sanders wasn't voted #1.  How did they put so many players above him. Imo 1,2,3 should have been Barry, Bo, and Vince. But apparently according to esteemed committee of septuagenarians ESPN more elite played before integration thank nowadays and nobody who played this century is worth a damn. Have Tebow and Earl round out the top 5 and you have a good list.

Best season isn't the same as best college football player, but yes, the list was dumb.
