  1. The only one in that group that can put a sentence together is going to lose. Because she is actually speaking the truth. Think about that.
  2. Wait, proud boys came from Opie and Anthony. Another reason that show sucked.
  3. So Priscilla Queen of the Desert was a great show, but they basically just had a bunch of disco hits and gay anthems playing through the show. And Avenue Q was great because they created the song The Internet is for Porn. I have unfortunately been to a lot more shows than that and have discovered that this style of entertainment is not my thing. That being said, every once in awhile a song will come out of a show that I actually like. The real problem with musicals is that they are like most albums. Usually 0-1 songs are good, sometimes 2 or 3 or good, but it's super super rare to get a whole show filled with good music. I find myself wanting to hit the fast forward button to the next song about 75% of the time when I'm stuck in the auditorium. PQotD worked for me because the set was clever and it was basically a greatest hits album. It doesn't help that I am one of those that hears the melody of the voices rather than the words, so I might have to hear a song 20 times before I actually ever really hear the lyrics and understand what they are talking about. This makes musicals pretty fucking infuriating to sit through, because it is hard to follow the story and most of the songs in any given show are trash even if there happens to be a banger thrown into the mix.
  4. LOL no, tried that. Tried shaming them too. Nope.
  5. I mean what stable genius that you know of has never tried to physically attack their driver and wrest control a car when they weren't in the driver's seat?
  6. He may have truly believed it. But I can show evidence that he only ever truly believed it when he won. He always claimed before and after any election he lost that it was rigged. He cried wolf every fucking time. He was disabused of that belief from his most senior advisors who knew it was not true, and if he continued to believe it after that point, that's on him. His belief, I think, quits being important when you can point to a string of past beliefs that show he's just essentially a sore loser on the one hand, and on the other, when you can show that people in a position to know, told him his belief was incorrect. That tells me that #1, he doesn't truly believe it and it's all an act, or #2, he's a buffoon who was never suited for the office (or both). Actually, it's just both. I don't think there are many people left in the world who don't wear Republican pompoms who would disagree that it's both.
  7. Also, let's not forget the fact that the justification from Alito on that one was that people are just going to ignore the law, so we shouldn't have the law. Based on what I'm seeing on LinkedIn today, lots of companies are not only going to ignore the law, they are going to aid and abet their female employees to travel for an abortion when necessary. So why doesn't the same logic hold here? I mean those two decisions were decided 1 day apart. This is not about the rule of law. Alito's back to back opinions remove any doubt.
  8. Some of them maybe are just dumb people and want it because it's free. But some of those ought to be under a microscope, because they wouldn't be asking if they weren't aware of something illegal enough to go to jail that they've done in their past.
  9. Well and also, isn't Alito basically saying, "Why do we have laws at all, after all, if someone wants to do something, having a law against it isn't going to make them stop." I wouldn't have taken him for an anarchist.
  10. Are those keg controls? They look like metallic animal ass sculptures to me. I see a turtle and a raccoon and I can't make out the other one. Also, funny that the bat has the word Justice on it. That's not how justice works, my man.
  11. Yes, the answer to that question is yes. He's proven over and over and over again that's exactly what he'll do. Why are we still asking this question?
  12. What a fool believes, amiright?
  13. The crazy thing about that is that those are the same people cheering against the bully when they see it on screen. There is a huge lack of self awareness in this country. It manifests in 100's of ways, like the assholes that camp out in the left lane, or that get through the door of the business and stop strategically to block everyone from coming in behind them so they can check their phone, or the assholes that walk 6 abreast and take up the entire walkway on sidewalks and in airports while they go for a sunday stroll when people are trying to make their connections, or they cheer against the fictional bullies but support the real ones. WTF.
  14. up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start
  15. Yeah we have any president at all besides Trump and we never would’ve stopped funding pandemic response, and I expect we would’ve been a lot more prepared. Why do you insist on pantsing yourself over and over again?
  16. Wait, you don't want to make sure we are prepared for the next pandemic that will inevitably happen? WTF is wrong with you?
  17. Yep, I think part of the reason that Cruz is at his ceiling is that people deep down know that he's smarter than he acts, and dumb people have had enough of smart people running things. They want someone as dumb as they are at the switch. I'd say that also Cruz is an unlikeable dick, but I've hated Trump since the 80's and still do not understand why anyone sees him as any more likeable than Cruz. He's been detestable since before I even knew what that word meant.
  18. Or they know it will be bad for their team, so they are going to ignore it and hope that willful ignorance will save the day. I'm hoping that this has the same result for them that it had for Bob Marley with his toe cancer, in that if you work too hard to remain willfully ignorant of the facts, it will end up biting you in the ass.
  19. So no income tax, and no property tax. Are we going to have like a 25% sales tax or something?
  20. Same guy that was yelling at children at the gay pride event the other day. Absolute piece of shit of a human being.
  21. Spent enough weeks there in winter doing consulting work that I know that’s not my answer.
  22. I can find no better visual as to why it's time for me to permanently exit this state than that nonsense. Being led by a moron who, the second he talks a bit of sense, gets booed and harassed by even bigger morons. And those morons control who gets elected here. WTF are we doing here?
  23. Lsat time I talked politics with my mom, she says she's checked out, then proceeded to have an opinion on every social issue of the day. Trans people shouldn't be in sports, what about that guy that's been locked up since the insurrection with no bail. Then she reiterates she doesn't pay attention anymore and proves it by telling me that she even quit listening to Rush Limbaugh 5 years before he died, as if that was some badge of honor. Damage has already been done, mom. Sorry your brain is smooth now. Wish I knew how to fix it.
