  1. If there was actually a LEGIT reason, I'd bet everything I own that it would not be the "why" for Trump.
  2. If pitchers get healthy...maybe? It all comes down to that, IMHO. 3. LOL. Educate me motherfucker. You gotta be shitting me. Look, I'm not remotely defending the decision, because I disagree with it; but the thread title might as well be "Trump places CA under martial law." The sad thing, is that it is not outside the realm of possibilities.
  4. Not sure how close these taste to the real thing, but the flavor itself is badass. Ate way more than one...
  5. It is California National Guard. Tomato/tomater. DIL is a member of the CNG. Hoping she is in no way involved. Not deployed yet.
  6. OP should work for the news outlets with titles like that. Should National Guard be there to interrupt protests? absolutely not. Should they be there to control riots and protect property? debatable.
  7. By Request, thread for Angel Reese discussion
  8. Guard units can be deployed, thus the Middle East aspect. Guard Units are military, and are called "National Guard, but belong to individual states. From the intertron: In its modern incarnation, each state's National Guard is still usually under the command of its governor. During times of national need, National Guard troops can be “federalized,” or shifted to federal control, reporting to the president as their commander-in-chief. Unless they are deployed or "activated" their duty typically involves one weekend/ month and 2 weeks some time during the year, most often in Summer. This precipitates the comments about their readiness.
  9. It was said that there were 6 main plays, from which there were infinite reads. The Air Raid was built to take whatever the defense gave it. It wasn't infallible, but it sure did even the playing field for generally less talented players.
  10. Wordle 1,450 3/6 🟨⬜🟩⬜⬜ ⬜🟨🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  11. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Just missing the wasabi peas for the perfectly lethal church farts on Sunday morning. ( I had no idea 7-11 had private label beers( No 7-11's in my area.)
  12. B&S should be automated, or at the very least, challengeable like the minors. Fuck anyone's feelings. Get the fucking call correct.
  13. C;mon. Stars and Strikes forever, Sousa!!!
  14. 2 away. That was a fucking strike.
  15. Jurassic Outlet Syndrome Surgery? 14 Sousa appearances have been Astros losses. innings eater now in the spotlight.
  16. opposite field Paredes. Fuck yeah.
  17. WP makes up for fucked up bunt?
  18. Cleveland announcers on strike 2: It just goes to show how hard it is to hit the baseball at the big league level. He was looking fastball and got it... and fouled it off. Hader got in a bind, but delivered. Let's go bats.
  19. Saint Arnold Art Car in my throwback glass. Saint Arnold Brown Ale used to give $.50( I think) for every 12pk to SPCA or whatever charity to help doggies. Have always liked this glass. My hoppy conversion continues.
  20. I am seriously giving IPAs a real try, and they are growing on me. I just can't handle the super 75 IBUs and stuff like that yet. The other thing about beers that I don't like, is that somebody still likes them and it drives cash flow for Brewers to make other good stuff. I don't have to like everything they make.
  21. This would not be the choice for Metallica? Checking in at 7:44 of badassery. It's not just long, but also distinguished.
