    Okay, defense, capitalize!

but we don't wanna! that would take effort and preparedness, and we already GOT our scholarships to UT

there was no reason to overturn that call, the ball was going to end up in the end zone regardless. like calling holding on an extra point, you're just delaying the inevitable

"Of course, A&M and any of the others have to direct the conversation elsewhere, because from a football standpoint, they certainly aren’t going to bring up wins and losses."

"In the meantime, Aggie folk can keep counting the millions, knocking out seven wins a year and telling themselves they’re in a better place."

That's the best scenario for them. They can come up with subjective ways to claim scoreboard over us without actually having to beat us on the field.

We'll see. There are rumors of the switch being made. But the track record of Pitt making the simple & correct decision is not good.

What the Pitt decision makers seem to not understand is that uniform colors and consistency aren't something you start over from scratch because it's 2018 (or 2000, which is about the time I remember them ditching traditional blue and yellow for the more "sophisticated" navy and gold). In a vacuum, sure, navy and gold are probably more aesthetically pleasing than basic blue and bright mustard yellow. But after decade upon decade of tradition, guess what? People (not just Pitt fans) would rather see the traditional colors because that's what looks like Pitt.

Visual consistency is important. I don't even mind schools candying up their uniforms as long as you can tell at a glance who's who on TV.

  4. as this story winds its way around the Internet, to different fanbases via SB Nation/etc, I feel like the fact that Texas kicked the fucking shit out of OU that day is getting lost in the amusement over Leach's antics

the ruse worked, OU jumped out to a 17-0 lead, and Texas then outscored OU 38-11 the rest of the way

    the end

Stop blaming millenials for all the world's problems.  That's a dead giveaway you're an old.

um, in case you haven't noticed, the world was absolutely perfect until 1993

    the cause-and-effect is obvious

or as you millennials would say "like, you know, whatever, totes macgotes"
