  1. Yep - told my fuckface uncle (obligatory - Sooner) Florida already chumming the water with excuses for their loss with guys having opted out. Yawn.
  2. Fair enough. Definitely agree with your last comment, it’s different to light up ECU vs TCU. Would have been pretty interesting to see Shane throwing to CJ, Dev and LJH in an offense that suited him better than Herman’s clunker.
  3. I'd like some consideration for Garrett Gilbert here too. You joke but Garrett is still making an NFL paycheck and wasn’t awful filling in for the Cowboys. It’s pretty clear he just mentally broke here and was much better than what he showed. For all the slack that’s given to Sam for playing with lackluster offensive talent, that team Gilbert QBd was far worse than any Sam has played on. Id be willing to bet he has a longer NFL career than Sam. For the record, I’d take Sam as my QB over those two, but the margin isn’t nearly as wide as you’d like to believe.
  4. I mean point taken but he also might go to Bama, basically guaranteeing an NFL future if he can carve out a role there. At least he’s not a legacy at a need position.
  5. I don’t even consider TQ, Brown as early entrants. Know they can technically come back but they’ve both played 4 years. Probably have their degrees, they should go get paid. Thinking Sterns and Eagles are all of a sudden going to have great senior year is wishful thinking. Sterns’ stock has never been as high as it was about 6 games into his freshman year. Playing another year and removing all doubt that he’s not very good/athletic will guarantee he doesn’t get drafted. Eagles hasn’t appreciably improved during his time here. Combine that with breaking in a new QB and I don’t see him playing his way into a high round grade. Dont get me wrong - I think both are making a bad decision. But that doesn’t mean I think they’d come back and play their way into becoming a high nfl pick either.
  6. Someone help me understand here... is he suggesting they would have come back and improved their draft stock? Because that’s a reach - Caden’s stock is sinking like a rock, Eagles has never shown to have it, and Ossai, Cosmi are gonna do just fine. Or is this some reference to NCAA changing their rules, in which case are we even talking much money anyways?
  7. What do you mean “scrubbed”? If you mean taken off the texas football accounts, are you really surprised they wouldn’t have content featuring guys that are on other teams?
  8. Transferring because you couldn’t beat out a JR (who will likely leave after the season) as a true freshman... geez. Kids coming in these days are clowns.
  9. Lol what a fucking idiot. Have fun (maybe) playing QB at a school that’s not any better than Texas and in a conference no one cares about. This really makes me believe he’s running from competing with Card; didn’t really think that before.
  10. Yeah wouldn’t be shocked if it were Owens (did he RS?) or Caldwell if he feels like he’s already gotten passed up.
  11. Week 6 is pretty late for us. Most years it’s week 1 or 2.
  12. Ahh, good call. Barryn Sorrell. Announcing at noon today per his Twitter.
  13. Not an awful class for a transition class - and it better be a fucking transition class. Any reason to check back in over the rest of the day? On Ish - let him sign and if it comes out he’s guilty of something bad dismiss him, pretty simple imo. Unless we wanna keep throwing our nose up and talk about our morals while remaining a has-been in football.
  14. I know Samples just signed an extension, but does JJ really think he’s gonna be there more than another year or two? Pretty silly to hitch your wagon to a position coach..
  15. Between Tom Herman and 3/4 captains bailing on the team, it’s no fucking wonder this team lacks discipline and heart.
  16. Fuck playing this game the 19th. Let the kids have a little Christmas break. Now or never imo.
  17. But can he coach? Or, at the very least, refuse to come out for the likes of Epps and Kai Money?
  18. Had more to do with the rape really. won’t matter though - next year is gonna be a transfer free for all.
  19. Eh, might cause him to bulk up and embrace his future as a blocking TE or OL, which is his best path for you guys
  20. The fuck? Baylor might no score... fuck OU and all but I don’t see this shitty Baylor team pulling it out.
  21. Agreed. He’ll be well liked for some school whose expectations are 7-5 with an upset or two every year. He can do that. Once the pressure gets ratcheted up, he can’t handle it.
  22. To be fair, Keontay would probably be eating against this awful KSU defense too.. Problem is it would likely come at the expense of getting Bijan carries
  23. Ossai hurt too? Looks like he was grabbing his ankle/lower leg a few plays ago haven’t seen him out there on last couple plays. God damn. EDIT: nvm, I’m an idiot. Or he’s okay. Either way back in the game.
