  1. Jimbo probably should hire a crew to guard all of his property to keep donors from depositing dead hookers.
  2. The problem is that even if Nebraska were smart, Rhule would have to be an absolute moron to take that job. Maybe he is, but that's more Nebraska being lucky than smart.
  3. Looking at the Pac and ACC, competent athletic department leadership seems like it might be in short supply.
  4. About 50 points of K-State's differential came in last week's game, though.
  5. You can't go wrong with the So Long Saloon, but you will probably have to wait for a table. Tallgrass Tap House is also pretty good.
  6. I think it will be interesting to see how FSU and Miami respond to UCF making $10 million+ more than them. Not sure if they even can do anything.
  7. Howard is able to stretch the field and open up the running game for Vaughn. And then the defense didn't allow OSU to even get into the red zone.
  8. https://www.willhowardqb.com/
  9. I'm seeing tweets about a pro rata clause in the contract for future expansion. That makes me think expansion won't cost the schools any money, but I guess you can't be sure until you see the actual contract.
  10. It looks like it's going to be more money, not less.
  11. Standing next to Deuce adds 6 inches.
  12. Just showed the stat. 1968 There might still be enough time for them to lose by 50.
  13. Did they retire number 7, or did they put Klein into the ring of honor? Because Bishop is already in the ring of honor and retiring a football number is pretty rare. Too many players.
  14. I know the comment was tongue in cheek, but this K-State team really does have a lot of talent.
  15. He also looked really good against TCU until he hurt his shoulder. I don't see how you could bench him.
  16. I think Howard is playing himself into the starting role.
  17. K-State is better with Howard than Martinez. Pretty amazing because Howard was terrible last year.
  18. ISU won't fire Campbell unless he starts stringing losing seasons together.
  19. I agree with most of this. People assume his ceiling is higher at a bigger program, but I really don't think it is. He would be a huge improvement over Frost at Nebraska, but he still would be fired after 4 or 5 years because he's not going to compete for conference championships.
  20. Also, the officiating is terrible in every conference. It's a hard job and you have to work your way up with a whole lot of shitty jobs to even get to ref college games, which still isn't exactly hitting the big time. It's not going to get much better in another conference.
  21. This might be true with Tech and Baylor. It's not remotely true with anyone else.
  22. Yeah, Nebraska is clearly the worst. At least Texas and OU aren't bitching about unequal revenue sharing on the way out the door after voting against revenue sharing at every opportunity. I think the Texas people are just too far from Nebraska to realize how much everyone hates them. I don't like A&M but those guys are really weird and I can appreciate not playing them anymore. CU would have hurt a lot more if they hadn't turned themselves into KU before they left. Mizzou is more puzzling than anything. I get why they wanted to leave, but I don't get why they were wanted. Anyway, when the playoff expands and the Big 12 has an autobid, the left-behinds are going to be better positioned to make the playoffs and be in the national picture than they ever have been, so as a fan, it's hard to be all that upset.
  23. They lost at home to K-State when they had nobody hurt. K-State is good, probably a top 3 team in the conference, but their offense has not been good against anyone but OU. ISU is a bad matchup for them if ISU can figure out how to close out a game. I also think Tech probably gives them trouble. They have OSU at home and it is Bedlam so I think they probably win that one.
  24. It makes more sense that your work buddy would hate you if his pay gets cut in half because you are leaving, and his pay already is lower than it would be if you hadn't underperformed for the past 15 years. It's still not right to be angry, and he should in fact appreciate the inflated pay that he's been receiving over the years, but losing money sucks, and the anger makes sense.
  25. Nothing wrong with ISU fans. Just like other fans, except they support a program that has never won more than 9 games, and most people aren't capable of that.
