  1. Someone cue up the music from Carmen.
  2. Pussies.
  3. I played in stage band for a couple of years. Trombonist. So much fun playing Chuck Mangione, Duke Ellington, Glen Miller, Weather Report, Spyro Gyra, Stevie Wonder...
  4. I remember the original implementation from which this baby toy sprang. Those things gave nunchucks a good run for the money on self inflicted body injuries.
  5. First cut I ever heard from Sabbath was 'Electric Funeral'. It blew my little 'raised on top-40'*** mind. The music and the vocals were like nothing I had ever heard. I will never forget that moment. I was listening to Paranoid this past weekend and wondering when Ozzy's time was coming. RIP. *** top-40 in the 70s wasn't too bad though.
  6. Wife's necklaces and bracelets get tangled up on occasion. Talking about 10-12 items at least. I will happily spend hours untangling that ball of mess.
  7. I changed it to that on original edit and then undid. Still working on first cup of coffee. Can't edit.
  8. Some one needs to point out we have Phelps old coach.
  9. I just saw the last pitch. Bases loaded, bottom of the 9th, 5 to 5 and Milner throws ball 4. Walk-off walk.
  10. That was an entertaining race. I got a little peeved watching Lando celebrate like he had won it all on his own but I am talking about a sport where you see pats on the back for finishing 10th. Wanted Hamilton to get the podium but it was much better seeing Hulk get up there instead. 19th to 3rd... I hope DTS plays this one up for him. Oscar will make a good heir apparent to Max... I don't expect him(OP) to relinquish the DC lead.
  11. I have spent a small fortune in arcades. Lot's of games mentioned have emptied my pockets. Gyruss, Star Castle, Tron, Star Wars (game based on Star Wars, not sure about title...) where some others... 1941, 1942, etc... too. Then there was the most memorable pinball game for me in my formative teenaged years - Xenon. 1st pinball game to feature a female voice. I can still hear 'Try a tube shot' caroming around in my brain.
  12. I hate it when people set off fireworks before dark.
  13. I was on campus the same time as Priest. I saw him at the bus stop outside of Jester in early '95. I remember him as not being very impressive from the standpoint of D1 running back. I was standing next to him and thinking, "I am in better shape then this guy." Not true from a cardio standpoint but from the physical stature standpoint, I felt pretty good about myself. I think I even flexed once or twice while pretending to adjust my backpack. Flash forward about a year or more later, after his injury and rehab... I run into him again outside of Jester at the same bus stop. He was cut and I was basically starting to morph into a middle aged guy spending all of his time in books and computers. I silently saluted him in my mind and began staring at my shoelaces.
