  1. Yep, one of the leagues all time top receivers. Also Ronald Reagan's favorite target on the White House lawn. Not bad for a kid from Belton.
  2. The plain white covered chairs were a bit creepy. Like some kind of weird Howard Hughes vibe. Great interview. Could have listened to a lot more.
  3. Didn't go, but it's hard for me to imagine a universe in which Turnpike Troubadours open for Canadian Crapweed. Well, except for the current shitty music universe.
  4. Don't forget Ricky Sanders, even though he was a Redskin. Should have gotten Superbowl MVP. Friend of mine from the olden days.
  5. Not this shit again, DeGrom...
  6. And still up there on the KFC sign, unlike some other cracker.
  7. Probably a TV antenna and a bootleg sports feed website. The old-timey TV antenna is one of the most underrated telecommunication devices on the planet these days.
  8. Dang good Sunday. Pile on some more wins.
  9. Most likely Gabriel, who has been listed ahead of Sanders all preseason. Sanders started the first game due to injury, despite not having a great deal of practice because of his own health issues prior. Gabriel has from beginning seen as the more pro-ready. That doesn't mean he has the best future. Sanders is more raw.
  10. Cleveland has no delusions of being particularly competitive this season, or getting through the year with Flacco staying up on two legs. Teams carry three able-bodied qb spots on the roster, but only have to have two on the active gameday roster, a third as an emergency qb, sort of a freebie that is listed among the rostered but gameday healthy inactives. That's not going to keep a shithole like Cleveland from keeping 4 on the roster. They know at least one of the veterans is likely to be either on IR or just released at some point during the season, probably sooner than later. They will carry both rookies on the roster, which is why they drafted both, to hope they hit on at least one of them. A preseason isn't going to determine which one is going to end up better or capable of being a starter at some point. It's not a terrible way to mine for a future qb, even though it's Cleveland. They drafted both to try to develop both and see what happens.
  11. I like the XXXXL cut of Rowdy's bigass jib.
  12. They would offer him up to Jerry for a 2nd round pick, and the idiot would probably take it.
  13. Shadeur will very likely be on the roster. But he's a long term project. They have two rookie projects, and they are relatively cheap to keep both, despite the roster size. Trade could be a possibility, but I don't see it happening. If they cut him to try to get him on the PS some goofy team will pick him up, and GM that drafted him wouldn't like that. Gabriel is far more game ready, so there's a chance they may try to unload Picket, but that doesn't seem wise, either with Flacco being old AF. Browns know they are screwed anyway, so they likely just keep four qbs and hope there is a real competition for a young quality starter next year.
  14. Shiloh had a legit reason to be somewhat pissed with that dude, but you can't do that. Looks like he was probably not going to make the roster anyway. Probably not even a shot at their practice squad now. Oh well...
  15. Chance to get back to the .500 mark with a win today. Let's get 'er done!
  16. Just do a bigass season ending tournament, with about the top 24 teams, double elimination, Omaha style.
  17. Sorry to be that guy, but that statue sucks. That shit ain't easy, though.
  18. Or whether Cleveland wants to.
  19. Jack be dealin'! Daaaamn, booyyy! Great game.
  20. Take away the throwing part and he rates solid for potential as a drunken mid-game field streaker.
  21. Been looking forward to this one. I will devote some special time late this evening.
  22. Good sculpture is really hard to find.
