  1. It's hard for me to think of Tomlin and Shedeur together. And I don't think it would pay quick dividends, and Tomlin has been without a decent qb for so long, he ain't got time for that shit.
  2. Dak restructures his contract to take another 37M off the current cap. I'm guessing an offer to DLaw might be up next, if they can get him back at a decent number. He seems to want to stick around a couple more years.
  3. Sanders will be a wild card. I could potentially see him dropping into the second round if teams just don't want to deal with the ego and the circus around him. But it only takes one dumbass team to pull the trigger. Jets and Browns are on the clock. I don't even think Jerry is in a position to take a whiff like that, but you never know.
  4. Sure, it could blow up in the Cowboys' faces, as we have seen before. But he's at market value, in his prime on an upward swing. A 3rd round pick working out well is always good. He may end up being even better in the new defense. But of course the Cowboys curse could always take over. It frees the Cowboys from having to sign another starting DL to replace him and focus on another need, so at least there's that. Cowboys freed up some cap space with restructures.
  5. A positive development for sure. https://x.com/RapSheet/status/1896969055472640015
  6. Just saw on the guide that Rangers are playing the Cubs on MLB channel at 7 tonight, in just a few minutes.
  7. Great lineup of war movies tonight on TCM. Sgt York staring now. An Officer and a Gentlemen The Best Years Of Our Lives The Story of GI Joe
  8. That would be the aggylandic Ocean.
  9. Awesome! Looks like I'll be gettin' me a Superbowl ring!
  10. I'll take the knob that doesn't fall off after the third flip. But the Mr. Peanut looking one is goofy AF.
  11. I have no particular expectations about next season other than it will be a little different, and some the same. Different is probably better, even if it is just a little. Kicking Mike to the curb is probably addition by subtraction, and the staff badly needed new and younger blood. Get some more studs on the team and avoid injuries and see what happens. Wouldn't take a miracle to at least have a winning record again.
  12. Kelce should have stuck with the 70s GI Joe hair. Unveiling the brand new flowing mane on Super Sunday was bad mojo, man.
  13. Not thrilled with Ken Dorsey on the staff, but hopefully not a real high leverage position. But the new receivers coach gets a pretty decent endorsement. The Cowboys definitely needed a change in developing receivers. https://cowboyswire.usatoday.com/2025/02/10/cowboys-junior-adams-wr-coach-cooper-kupp/ While at Eastern Washington for five seasons, Adams played a key role in the development of an undersized and seldom-used pass-catcher named Cooper Kupp into a premier NFL-caliber talent. Kupp has called Adams “the best there is” and said that no coach has ever had a greater impact on him than Adams. “As hard as he can be on you, I think he sees more in people than they see in themselves a lot of the time,” Kupp once told Mike Vorel of the Seattle Times. “I think he sees the best in people as well, and he wants to bring that out. He definitely pushed me and really forced me to accept the fact that I could be greater than what my own thoughts were. “I really credit a lot of my mindset and the way that I’ve gone about my whole career – the mindset I’ve taken into my training, into my preparation – I credit a lot of that to Coach Adams.”
  14. First point is the correct response. Not sure how much of Lamb's route running is him or the Cowboys coaching/scheme stuff. But maybe. Aiyuk is one of the most overrated, glad the Cowboys didn't think about trading for him. Productive enough over the season, but a system guy that's pretty hot and cold. Put him on a lesser offense and he's a JAG...when he's healthy.
  15. Ah, OK my bad. I guess I shouldn't try to read boards before lunch after bouts of insomnia. Next statue should be Mike Hargrove, with animatronic self-adjustments at the plate. He would be spending about the same amount of time between pitches as he did in real life.
  16. I hope they order the right Elvis.
  17. I love Elvis, but a statue seems a bit much. But OK, as long as it's a really good one I'll be happy. But it will probably be as bad as most sports hero statues propped up at stadiums and arenas. Good sculpture ain't easy to come by.
  18. CeeDee is even better than his stats. When you see detailed analysis about his tiny catch windows and difficulty compared to others it's pretty amazing got got anywhere close to his actual catches and yards.
  19. Added another 'Flus guy. What is it, like five dudes now? Dallcago Bearboys. That part makes me a bit nervous.
  20. Waco - Temple - Bryan, looks good. Hopefully won't get preempted by fake doctor informercials for boner pills and wrinkle cream or some shit.
  21. Oddsmakers just know how stupid typical betting fans are, doesn't really have anything to do with likelihood. Ain't happening.
  22. I hope the OTA network spreads out this way. Can't pick up any DFW stations, I could pick up a lot of Austin stations if I point an antenna out that way.

    Grammys

I hear the Beatles actually won a grammy. For the worst single they ever released. Does that speak to the quality of today's biggest hits?

    Grammys

I never watch that shit. Do the cameras keep showing football players up in some VIP booth? It would seem fitting.
  25. I tried those, and I like them...for a while. But they start falling apart in a few weeks, very frustrating.
