  1. Okogie is an off-the-bench energy guy. He is atrocious on offense and that 35% from 3 was completely wide open looks his entire time in Phoenix. Teams don't even guard him. He is a pretty damn good defender and stuffs the statsheet but Houston shouldn't need him to be anything but a warm body at practice and the 11th or 12th man. You can't like, have him in the game during crunch time or play him real minutes in a playoff series.
  2. I feel like Mr. Rooney is the biggest dick. The brother from Weird Science makes the movie so he has to be off the list for me.
  3. She's been injured all season. Her on/off splits are still very good and there's obviously stuff with her that's hard to quantify.
  4. BK but Wendy's can go too afaic.

    Ozzy has passed.

    RIP to the beer thief.
  6. I mean - they have much more bargaining leverage than someone in marketing or whatever. There are thousands of people in marketing that can do basically the same shit. There are not multiple Caitlin Clark or A'Ja Wilson's. The street you're talking about goes both ways. If I'm Caitlin Clark and you're telling me "what are you going to do, go play basketball somewhere else?" I'm saying "Bitch I might - what are you going to do, find another Caitlin Clark?" The only reason these ladies don't have (or haven't had) as much leverage as NBA or MLB players is because the financials are a lot messier and the league isn't as profitable. As the money shoots up and the league becomes profitable or even breaks even (which I'm betting it's close to already) so does the bargaining power that the players have. Sure - but there are a lot of numbers between 9 and 30 😉 I would assume they get more than they financially "deserve" because they are already dragging this out into a PR mess that a fairly infant league isn't going to want to deal with.
  7. I agree with your overall point about league exec compensation but this isn’t true at all. Most of these girls have college degrees, for starters. Pretty much all of them could walk into any of the thousands of coaching jobs there are in this country or overseas for female basketball coaches. A lot of those jobs pay pretty well. There are also broadcasting opportunities. I don't know what Candace Parker is paid by TNT or Chiney is paid by ESPN but I'm assuming it's a lot of money. Playing in the WNBA is a big deal to have on your resume. It's not like being a pro disc-golf player or some shit. And there are obviously other leagues they can play in - despite the W being the most attractive option. There was that offseason (3 on 3 I think?) league that a bunch of them did this past year.
  8. Thank God because Freeman had whatever less than nothing is there.
  9. I'm not blaming Doli for not getting home that's a hard play to judge.
  10. Dude - what the fuck are you talking about? Are you just making shit up on this thread to rage-bait me? Are you copy-pasting AI shit in here? First - "a few points per possession" is a huge fucking difference and - no - MPJ is not that much better on defense if he's better at all. Second - where are you seeing that Cam Johnson is 6% better from 3 than MPJ? I seriously don't understand where you are coning up with this shit. Cam Johnson could not be a more obvious upgrade over MPJ. Brooklyn got completely fleeced in that trade.
  11. Oh okay case closed.
  12. I've heard this thing is a huge fucking waste of time.

    EDM

Spotify just blessed me with this gem.
  14. I don't think I'm misinformed here but I'm also not sure why you care so much. You can vote for someone and lean towards their party and then later on not approve of their presidency.
  15. Dude I don't know what your bright-line test is for some of those qualifications but Shane 100% voted for Trump if he voted for anyone this last election. All of those guys did. Which for me is fucking whatever - but he definitely does lean right. That doesn't make him a "hateful person" necessarily.
  16. I mean yeah dude you're preaching to the choir.
  17. You should be - you watch every fucking game. @gofuckyourself shhhhh - we're sweeping these dicks.
  18. I don't know if he needs to be less of a spaz or lean into it even further and just fucking aspergers Scottie to death at a major next year. "And here's Bryson cleaning up for par while reciting lyrics from the HMS Penifore..."
  19. You would think he gets a lot more but golf is weird. Guys get stuck or lose it all of a sudden all the time. Since Tiger's first major Phil has 6, Rory and Brooks have 5, Scottie has 4 now, Spieth, Paddy and Vijay have 3 and a ton of guys have 2. Couple that with that interview he gave - who fucking knows. If he plays like this for a few more years he's getting 6+ easily but we thought Rory was going to win 10+ once upon a time. Maybe Bryson rattles a couple more off and lights a fire under him 😉
  20. The money does exist. They aren't negotiating based on what the W pulled in revenue-wise in 2009. I don't know what the numbers are or are going to be but they are exponentially increasing and the players deserve to negotiate a good deal for themselves. The whole "the league loses money" thing is fucking retarded, anyway. Businesses lose money and gain revenue and valuation all the time. They wouldn't be selling expansion franchise for 9 figures if it was a shitty business to get into. The fact that there are pages upon pages of WNBA discussion here when a few years ago it was maybe a handful of posts every once in awhile should signal to everyone that it is a business quickly growing in the right direction.
