I have to disagree. Knicks winning the 2nd round was a big deal for their fanbase and players. Big accomplishment. This isn't Lebron or the Warriors/Lakers/Spurs winning that where it's no biggie and business as usual. I know Brunson went to the WCF with Dallas in 2022 but this time around, he's the focal part of the franchise unlike 2022. And he's doing it in one of the more recognized arenas in all of sports.
And I guarantee if the Cowboys ever win the divisional round again, it's going to be a party for players and fans lol. We are generations removed from that franchise being successful.
All 4 of these teams left have a new age/era superstar that is getting their 1st ring this year. And going back, we saw Jokic/Giannis/Tatum win their first after many failures. It beats seeing GSW/Cleveland 4 years in a row. Relish in the moment because you never know when you are getting back. I saw so many think Milwaukee/Phoenix/Denver going to be contending consistently after their Finals appearances. Not at all.
