  1. The biggest problem with the insane tent party is that we also think we are free thinkers, we are not either we commit to the team or we are sabotaging, We don't have the luxury of being in a cult. The only way to remove the disaster of being a big tent party is to pick fundamentals and commit to them (and corpocrats aint it), no... more... neuroticism/overthinking.
  2. There are gradients of what is language police ridiculous and what is not, using xer, xiv, xav pronouns was 100% on one scale but Happy Holidays was like 5%. This percentage being the people you piss off by enforcing it. I have used Happy Holidays to get a a gauge reactions on people, but at the end it moves no needles.
  3. I stopped doing it a long while ago, last time I used it was for the official name of the rollercoaster. Aggie is good enough seems to be the same singular groupthink mentality but without the childishness. RIP TPE.
  4. True I think Texas nationally leads corporate NIL by a mile, Fansville, NCAA 2025 (Both Ewers and Arch), Lambo dealer, Fortnite off the top of my head. Only Southern Cal can compete in theory and they are a disaster.
  5. OT but this racing reminds me of Folkracing in Finland, winner loses their car (if anyone wants to buy it for 1500 Euros) this is meant to keep cars cheap as shit and to elevate the driver over the machine.
  6. If we can get this version of Quinn Ewers there is not a team that can't get its doors blown off, even the little details like the pump fake making Scourton bite, that slight motion made a potential tipped pass go from low probability to zero probability. I don't know if telling him to dial it down makes him play like shit, but from my admittedly limited sample size when we need to score he scores* but when told to turtle he makes stupid mistakes. *Georgia game excluded.
  7. The roller coaster climb has to start sometime, what better day than 3 days after their season was ended.
  8. I still think it was just a special year, there have been so many upsets that it could be argued that even the top 13 team stood a shot, this compounded by Alabama getting their ass wiped 3 times and people still using the talent composite argument to start slapfights. That said if the upsets keep happening (super seniors, transfer portal creating balance) it will lead to continued drama
  9. Ctrl+F 2023 zero results found.
  10. That still does not explain why their 2023 class fucking collapsed like sucking wind after their pool party, seriously you people have no critical thinking skills.
  11. Ok then smartasses explain the collapse of their 2023 class? I already did. they were sucking wind before their losing season
  12. Texas A&M was the first team to NIL, was it bag men as well? sure, but that is the baseline they have done bag men all their lives and they never had the greatest class of all time. They were the very first school to promise the millions that is standard today. Their inability to follow up the greatest class of all time with a pedestrian one a year later was purely one hundred percent as a result of everyone eliminating their early mover advantage.
  13. https://247sports.com/article/the-pancake-factory-inside-the-nil-initiative-that-will-let-texas-offensive-linemen-bring-in-50000-annually-177666783/ Pancake factory announced early december Banks commited December 11 Campbell Feb 2 Williams commited December 12 Haters are wrong per usual
  14. Pancake factory came very late in the cycle and that plus Cristobal leaving is how we got Banks, Campbell and Williams. The Aggies were in on NIL months faster than UT, thankfully it was not a full year and it was for star chasing not for strategic recruiting.
  15. Reminds me of this only his mum signed it
  16. Late to the stunts discussion but do you guys remember that I formation that PK ran a few times in 2021? How could something so weird be such a nothingburger.
  17. As for the enabling act he is already pushing for him to be able to do appointments without senate conformation, that is one step behind the enabling act.
  18. His own VP called him Hitler, look I get Trump's perfect weapon has been a gaslight, a grading on a curve. The Left warns that he is Hitler! He behaves like Franco and then they go see! you were wrong! I am so fucking tired of people getting wood about them thinking they know who Trump is, that they know... that they know when he is lying and when he is telling it like it is. Trump may not be Hitler, but that is because we work around the clock to defeat him, it is no thanks to either his supporters or his professors here grading him on a curve. Yes I can see key moments where he does not get Hitler like powers, like the military bargaining allegience if he terminates his paramilitary (oathkeepers/proudboys et al). However a Putin like dictatorship is still painfully obvious because YOU feel smug that at least it was not a final solution.
  19. That is like taking solace in the fact that earth is 4 billion years old and will go on without us... thanks I guess? that 250 year history also works against us, they want to go back when women could not vote that is only a 100 year old thing.
  20. Why are you so against the analogy? it might not turn out that way because we will fight like hell but the slide is irreversible, remember the poem? in his first term he went against foreign immigrants now he is going about internal immigrants, even legal immigrants, there is an undeniable slide into neo nazism that people have to be hyper vigilant about not just go gee wizzz like Biden did.
  21. This is dumb and naive, inflation is a direct cause of people having more money because of COVID subsidies, businesses immediately adapting to rising demand by raising prices. This continued after subsidies were cut and this is when things bit, where Biden drowned us for good. That Biden did not go to war for renewed subsidies and instead went "ahh shucks gee wiz republicans blocked me so I am going to be above it all", is the abosolute #1 reason dems lost the presidency. An infrastructure bill does create a trickle down effect, but if you hypothetically give a trillion dollar handout then that exact trillion goes into groceries, spending et al, and prices rise.
  22. I still think the democrat party needs to surrender to the Bernie wing of the party, Maga are lunatic psychos, but the election was lost by poor swing voters who could not make ends meet. That and a dangerous abandonment of Gen Z specially the men. We need to do something about the psycho wing but that is still 45% of the electorate, its not why the dems lost, whoever we still need to do something about the crazies democracy can't die when we live on a knives edge about runnning perfect candidates, luckily populism also gives an edge to not being ultra high strung. Scream about poor people rinse and repeat and there is no way MAGA can pivot against it cause they can't
  23. Let it burn dude, I am tired of worrying about macroeconomic hypotheticals when we have clear and present dangers from the psycho party. Handouts for life now, no more austerity, ever!
  24. I feel like I am being held hostage by both the identity politics left and the misogynist right, A) this will do absolutely nothing about the pats on the back about "making history!" when we are about to be hearded into hell. I rather these people pay the same price we are all going to pay. B) If you are going to do this do it early in the campaign so she can implement handouts, not that she would have because she refused to campaign correctly.
