  1. Blotter on a potter?
  2. B. That earns you the invite to the shareholder meeting in Omaha, which is a truly special event. For a father/son weekend. I might even take my son this year if he can get leave. No matter my portfolio, I never let my holdings of B fall below 1 share.
  3. The biggest difference has been between Stingley’s ears. He had some off field “distractions” and early last year some teammates and coaches had to sit him down and question his committment. One of the injuries was actually a benching. The man has matured. Meanwhile Pitre is with the same girl since middle school.
  4. Well, not a bad ending. At least the final song was good.
  5. Who in their right mind would take any of the pharmaceuticals advertised during this godforsaken show? It’s meh TV interrupted by scary side effects.
  6. Earlier this afternoon, a newborn infant entered the world, and her first blood test was positive for benzos.
  7. I just witnessed my wife - in her official capacity, call an 18-year-old and tell him that his mother had died of an overdose and that he needed to come to pick up his nine and 12-year-old sisters from the county sheriff's office. Both fathers in prison. The kid didn't sound surprised. Heartbreaking. Every time she is on call I get to rework my 1st step.

  9. I would add if you ever wonder why others don't drink as much as you. I honestly was curious as to why everyone didn't drink like me. I thought they had a problem, not me.
  10. I measure booze in consequences. The conundrum is my jigger has infinite ounces.
  11. I'll catch you on the next go-round. Woke up with a locked up back and it looks like a painful morning.
  12. I read that and even bought a Richard Schiff signed spaldeen rubber ball from the ACLU. Great book.
  13. Fucking tapa gibberish
  14. Shit, the Yellowstone universe is so ripe for franchising, Costner’s departure is a minor speed bump for all the future iterations. Its gonna have a longer run than Grey’s anatomy or NCIS.
  15. That's what my wife says too, and yes.
  16. Tapa keeps glitching. I've got a later flight out of DFW on Friday and was thinking about an early meeting.
  17. PCH will you be at Harbor on [emoji2[emoji2391]9[emoji2[emoji2391]9[emoji2391]]] am Friday?
  18. Well done! About to go entertain a bunch of people in Houston who love expensive whisk(e)y, might even break my company CC. My mental obsession has kicked in. Diet Coke or Club soda?

In what world does an experienced oilfield guy throw a tantrum and jump up and down on a trailer of pipe?
  20. It wasn't that he didn't have the strength to fight, rather that he didn't have the moment of clarity that would allow for surrender. That is the concept that nonalcoholics will never understand about how alcoholics can recover. We don't fight, we don't struggle, we ask God for an intuitive thought or decision. We surrender to win. Civilians always say “you've been successful in battling your demons.” No, I just had a moment when I realized I was whooped and in the subsequent years I’ve been to a few thousand meetings where I heard enough to be reminded to stay whooped. I'm sorry you're friend is dying.
  21. Backpack found in central park, per David Muir.
  22. I’ve reached the magical point of being married to a Cajun life, where it's an outlier when Gumbo isn't in the fridge.
  23. Tapa glitch. Tate or the Indians get the ranch, if the origin story holds true.
  24. 2 things - He and his wife were living in separate houses How the hell did local Nederland crackpot Philip Klein get inserted into this WSJ story? His firm had previously provided private security services to Thompson. https://www.wsj.com/us-news/united-healthcare-ceo-killed-what-happened-33cf8452?st=9daJqv&reflink=article_copyURL_share https://www.setpoliticalreview.com/
  25. Omg that brings back memories. In 1995 I was living at 3030 Austin avenue in the castle heights neighborhood of Waco. That address is significant because the Waco creek greenbelt is directly opposite the property before crossing under Austin and wrapping behind my former house, and there is a 100’x100’ vacant lot adjacent. Most summer evenings I would get baked AF and hit buckets of golf balls with a 7 iron across the street and into the usually dry creek bed, all the while providing audible commentary on each shot a la Bill Murray.
