  1. Spread dropped to -13.5, which I'm guessing is due to Green practicing this morning It don't make a shit tho
  2. This is what I was looking for, thanks
  3. What are their boards saying about Taylen Green?
  4. Houston should win three in a row (Dak-less Dallas, Tennessee, Trevor-less Jacksonville) going into the bye week, where they can then hit the reset button and heal up for the stretch run
  5. They lost by a field goal. That's not getting your face kicked in by any metric I'm aware of They've looked like an average team for most of the season, even in wins. They demonstrated in this game that they can actually play at a higher level. With the division essentially locked up, that's what matters
  6. This game was much more promising than anything they've shown against real teams this year No Nico and no WAJ (and eventually no Lassiter and no Fatusaki) against arguably the best team in the league, and they arguably outplayed them You all can choose to be cunty bitches about this one, but I saw it in a different light
  7. Yes I should Houston played toe to toe with arguably the best team in the league without Nico and WAJ, both of whom would have made a difference If Houston can hold up against Detroit without Nico and WAJ, they can potentially hold up against anyone with those two
  8. A talking point all over twitter is "how do you lose to a team that has five interceptions" which ignores your own interceptions, and also that one was an end of half hail mary Whatever I feel better after this game than after any other game this year. We played with maybe the best team in the league without arguably 2/3 of our best players, and several other key players either missing the game or getting injured during the game Houston looked like a legitimately dangerous team
  9. Tough to feel good about this game with who's out and the matchup, but the NFL can give you surprising results sometimes Feels like they gave Nico another week after Indy lost
  10. So they worked out a bunch of potential interior OL, and ended up signing this guy Him playing for McVay means he should know most of the terminology in the offense and be available to play this season
  11. I'm guessing they view the division as basically won at this point, so they don't want to rush Nico back. Wait until he's 100% with no risk of re-injury

    2025 NFL Draft

Not Brugler/DJ, but a 7 round mock to read 7) Kelvin Banks 10) Cam Williams 21) Isaiah Banks 42) Quinn Ewers 93) Jahdae Barron 113) Gunnar Helm 153) Andrew Mukuba 171) Matthew Golden 180) Alfred Collins 240) Barryn Sorrell https://atozsports.com/nfl-draft/7-round-2025-nfl-mock-draft-shedeur-sanders-cam-ward-travis-hunter-go-top-three/
  13. Houston might get Dallas without Dak
  14. On a nice little run of good horror/horror adjacent movies this week; Strange Darling, MadS, Red Room (not really horror, but excellent movie), and Cuckoo, along with In a Violent Nature and Late Night With the Devil, were at worst solid My watchlist sorting worked this time
  15. Excellent movie. It's not even horror adjacent, and it's probably thriller adjacent
  16. Most of stroud’s missed last night where arm throws where he’s leaning back (what Quinn always does) This is because the interior was getting blown up and he got sacked a couple of times early trying to step up in the pocket Eventually he also got sacked from edge pressure that should have been outside of the pocket, but he didn’t trust stepping up because of interior pressure from earlier, so they were essentially QB sacks because he was so deep Shore up the interior, and the OT pass pro will be better
  17. Another idea is Patterson to center and Suggs to guard
  18. Not only do they need an average guard, it might help if they also bring in a vet center to push Suggs

    2025 NFL Draft

As I posted before, probably discount Nate's QB opinions. I like the rest of his draft stuff though 9) Kelvin Banks Jr 48) Cam Williams 49) Isaiah Bond
  20. It's predictable, but i also think it helps them spring big plays in the passing game through play-action, and it makes defenses predictable Everyone bitches about this pattern, but when they change it up, frequently you're looking at a three and out because the OL fucks it up
  21. Also, I think the Slowik criticism is typically overdone, but today was bad. You run on this Jets team, and the play-action bombs will come. You don't give their pass rush a chance to tee off on you. Also, that trick play in the redzone was fucking trash.
  22. First of all, tough spot in a Thursday night road game against a team that has its back against the wall, on the worst field in the league, with arguably their best player out for another week. The Jets were favored for a reason. Second.. left guard has to be addressed. Trade for a league average guy for a 4th rounder if that's what it takes Third.. the 4th down penalty was chickenshit. DBs touching the guy they're covering to know where he's running so he can keep eyes on the QB is taught and allowed at every level. That was a bail out call that changed the game Fourth.. Garrett Wilson made two absurd catches that changed the game Annoying loss, but this was a "schedule loss" imo, especially with Nico still out. Luckily, Houston winning last week gives them some buffer for a loss like this
  23. I don't think an big time/expensive WR is in the cards. If it happens, I think it'll be more of a current WR3 type who's good enough to start over Woods/Metchie/Hutchinson An offensive guard seems more likely
