That’s incredible news. He is going to absolutely terrorize the Big 12 leftovers in that offense.

You sick bastard.
33 minutes ago, Red Five said:Wait what? If he's grading left tackle alone and projecting Baker there, why is that a B+? Should we have 2-3 five star left tackle prospects in one class?
Don’t be mad at Ian Boyd. Be mad at yourself for reading Ian Boyd.

Does Bud understand that ATM’s 3 highest quality “commits” didn’t actually sign yesterday and are likely to go elsewhere?
No. His comment about Elmo’s transition class only applies if they sign Bussey, McKinley, Evans, and Jernigan.
Narrator: They won’t.
The class will fall off a cliff in his metrics once that happens.

I don’t know what’s funnier, taking a month to hire a total JAG like Jay Bateman as the DC or Elko making his entire staff be carryovers from Duke plus raiding one of the worst coaching staffs in all of college football. Oh, and hiring an equipment manager from Nebraska to be your TE coach because he’s buddies with the OC you supposedly hired but still appears to be working for KSU.
This is honestly better than fiction.

Would you take him if he was promised nothing- told he had to work for whatever he got and given an NIL package that reflected an average starter at the University of Texas?
I think I’d happily take him under those conditions because it would demonstrate the light in starting to come on and there would be something I could work with- and if not I could cut bait without too much of a problem.
nothing about that guys act leads me to believe the light is turning on for him in such a way, so this is a hypothetical question. If your aunt had balls would she be your uncle?

Yup. If he’s Drake Stoops, he’s a great take.
If he’s Jordan Shipley, he’s an amazing take.
Something tells me a 6’4, 4.4 40 guy will not end up being Drake Stoops.

I am fine with Parker Livingstone being taken as one of the last guys in the class. I remember making jokes this summer to rile people up calling him Jaggy McJaggerstone, I guess. More power to him if he does well at Texas. If he doesn't, I'll just add him to references of Dustin Miksch and Clint Haney the next time we take an iffy white WR recruit and root for handwringing defending that take.
Also, I saw Garth Brooks in concert at the Colosseum in Vegas last weekend. He was doing various covers and threw out an Alan Jackson reference for a brief moment. I'd be lying if I said my right eye didn't start to twitch.
With Bobby Burton and that Ray guy both showing up on Surly this week, it reminds me that everyone involved with Texas football reads Surly. I’d bet Dustin Miksch and Clint Haney are reading Surly right now.

Yet, somehow aggy decided there was no way in hell he deserved to be their coach and ousted him for a guy who’s currently raiding the FCS teams just to be able to fill out a 2 deep. Never change, aggy.

Remember guys, this has nothing to do with him being from MO, growing up 90 minutes from Mizzou’s campus, or the fact that Missouri just had a great season and looks to be a much better program than it was a year ago, this is only about money and it’s ruining the virtuous sport of football for fans of honorable programs, like Oklahoma, right @Constant?

If you had told Evan Stewart as he was entering his freshman year that he would he still be in school for his 4th year; he would have laughed in your face. Guys like him are 3 and done. The fact that he is in this situation should be proof that he made the wrong choice taking the bigger bag and hitching his wagon to Jimbo. FAFO
Well, you’d have to tell him that next year because he’s going into his third year and will probably still be a 3 and done. But other than that, great post!

Moore is either okay with a "redshirt" year or Gabriel is gonna go somewhere else.
Gotta be the first. No competing program is recruiting Moore as their starter next year.

To be fair to Ag Jack, if you rank this theory relative to everything posted on TexAgs, it’s probably not even in the top half of batshit insane ideas.

Yep. Should’ve been a bullet back shoulder. Idk wtf Quinn was doing on those last 3 plays. His throws never even gave us a chance to win.
