  1. Maybe Evers is the swing guy they want. They covet having guys like that and want to sign one in this class.
  2. That first half blew and that second half was awesome.
  3. The Texans taking Burden would be sadly hilarious. Hope that doesn’t happen.
  4. This theory is about to be tested. Texas needs to be at least competitive today against ATM and Wednesday at Ole Miss. Terry cannot afford a blowout to either opponent. Either situation would be on par with his embarrassing shit last year whining about horns down after letting fucking UCF embarrass Texas at home. The fallout from him pulling that shit became a problem for Terry with a number of folks helping out with the program. Getting blown out by Beard or a second time, at home this time, to the fucking aggjes, will be a problem.
  5. “That closetojumping was full of shit, man. “
  6. Texas doesn’t play with fire. If an NIL number is offered, Texas is willing to back that if the player wants to come to Texas. Guys like Nakos are either unwitting imbeciles being played by agents or part of the bullshit because it drives clicks.
  7. Pretty sure they’ve offered Gunnar Rivers and he’s their likely top target if his dad is okay with the depth chart.
  8. Yeah, I don’t expect Stewart to be a part of the class, so I ignored him for my list.
  9. That's a good point. I know they felt like they have a shot with him either way.
  10. I don't get the fascination with Tate. I wouldn't pay $1M+ for him and hope Texas isn't involved.
  11. Ahead of the first Junior Day and with things being really early, I'm posting my predictions on the class. It's freaking January, so usually, with this much time between now and December, the final list looks way different. Still entertaining and funny later in review though. Total class rank: 3rd QB (1): Dia Bell TB (2): Javian Osborne, KJ Edwards WR (3): Kaydon Finley, Naeem Burroughs, James Scott TE (1): Tayfuk Ifino OT (2): John Turntine III, Max Wright IOL (3): Toa Katoa, Nicolas Robertson, Zaden Krempin Edge (2): Jamarion Carlton, Kevin Ford, JR DT (4): Dylan Berymon, Jaimeon Winfield, Tika Hola, Bryce Perry Wright LB (3): Kosi Okpala, Anthony Davis, Xavier Griffin CB (2): Jalen Lott, Unknowny McUnknownster S/NB (3): Donovan Webb, Chace Calicut, Isaiah Williams I think Texas gets 2-3 commitments from this weekend, with Robertson being one of them.
  12. One of many reasons you do not hear much coming from TOF for media is this right here. TOF gets a shit ton of media requests. Walk softly and carry a $25+M payroll, I always say. Ohio State idiots can't shut the fuck up, for whatever reason.
  13. This is one of the guys early on that Texas would take. He's the initialed scatback that I have been referencing, whose name I never bothered to fully look up. Now, they've invited a number of RBs to the first junior day. I'm curious to see how all of this plays out. This dude is like 5'8" for real though.
  14. Why are you giving any credence to anything Liucci says on any subject matter? He not only lies constantly, but he's quite often wrong even when he thinks he's telling the truth. Regardless, my info isn't coming from texags or Billdo Liucci.
  15. A few updates from GH: Texas is recruiting this guy in Bama. He's currently unranked by 247 but he's starting to get a lot of attention from all of the big boys: https://247sports.com/player/emanuel-ruffin-46152365/ North Carolina offers: Texas makes flurry of offers in North Carolina Jeff Banks went recruiting bonkers in the Tar Heel state Thursday. The Texas Longhorns sent national recruiting ace to the state that is absolutely loaded along the defensive front in the 2026 cycle to make offers to some of the nations best in hopes of getting as many as possible to campus this spring. OnTexasFootball provides a rundown of the offers from Thursday. Rodney Dunham, EDGE, Charlotte (N.C.) Myers Park The 6-foot-4, 230-pound EDGE prospect doubles as a talented baseball prospect that touched 90 MPH on the mound last summer. The Longhorns were the 30th offer for the top 50 ranked prospect in the cycle. SEC offers: Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Missouri and Texas A&M. Aiden Harris, EDGE, Matthews (N.C.) Weddington Harris plays high school football near the ESPN SEC Network Studios south of Charlotte. The 6-foot-3, 240-pounder has nearly 30 offers, including early favorites Ohio State and Auburn. SEC offers: Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas and Ole Miss. Andrew Harris, EDGE, Matthews (N.C.) Weddington The 6-foot-2, 235-pounder is also nearing 30 offers, including Auburn. SEC offers: Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas and Ole Miss. Damaad Lewis, DL/TE, Charlotte (N.C.) Ballantyne Ridge Another that goes to school right by the ESPN SEC Network studios south of Charlotte. Younger brother of former LSU and current Carolina Panthers offensive lineman Damien Lewis. He lives with his brother, thus moving from the Seattle area prior to the 2024 season to Charlotte. Lewis is 6-foot-4, 245-pounds with the frame to carry much more. January offers of note: Texas, Oregon, USC and Minnesota. 2026 DL Noah Clark already had a Texas offer, and attended the Georgia game this season ... http://www.hudl.com/v/2R5bE1
  16. I don't know if this is true or not, but the buzz around Hudson suddenly leaving is that he and Marcel Reed got into some type of argument after a workout and ended up in a fistfight. Hudson had his feelings hurt and no longer felt welcome, so he quit and left campus.
  17. We're just getting started, sir. If they pursued other IOL in the portal, surely they'll try to take a look here. Are you saying that this guy is a natural lean in Texas' direction, then?
  18. If you have the money, NJ recruits will listen. They seem to have an affinity for getting the fuck out of New Jersey, irrespective of whether that’s to Penn State, USC, Bama or ATM. I’m interested in seeing if Texas can make it happen here. Glad to see Sydir Mitchell didn’t end the UT efforts up there.
  19. I’m with Fud on McMillan. That dude is a stud in a terrible class. I’m with Burt on Burden. I know I’ve probably said it on this thread before, but he has bust written all over him. He underperformed in 2 of 3 years in college. He whined publicly and in the locker room about his targets for 3 years. He threw fits on the sideline and he quit on his team multiple times during games. Beyond all of that, I just don’t see some sort of freak meriting a top 15 pick. Golden in the 3rd round could be a far better NFL player.
  20. I don’t know if I was included in this or not, but in case I was, I didn’t defend anything. I don’t like the guy. I cited the reality, a fact that isn’t disputable by anyone paying attention, that that guy is connected to the Tennessee program. If he’s talking about NIL shit that could involve Tennessee, only idiots would choose to ignore it because they don’t like the guy’s politics. If he’s providing a data point, and someone is involved with NIL and roster management, it is a dereliction of their duty to not incorporate it into their view of the landscape.
  21. I realize that Travis is a conservative talking head and that drives a lot of people insane, but, idiot or not, the guy is very much involved with Tennessee athletics and would know very well about something like this. Smiths camp is doing outreach.
  22. You think the Smith camp is going through any form of analysis for their ask? I doubt it. Ivey. This is a bizarre digression. No one cares what you think of my posting style, including me.
  23. Per a friend that usually knows this stuff better than most, it is highly unlikely that Osborne and Latimer would sign with the same team.
