  1. And by the same token, had Arch been playing since Georgia, he would have been developing, and he'd be better prepared by now. Likewise, it assumes he hasn't developed any simply from practicing and the passage of time since then. The whole crux of this matter is Quinn's poor performance.
  2. Ah, my mistake. My point stands however.
  3. I'm picking your quote here to chime in on, but my statement applies to other posters here as well. Arch was inserted into a very intense game cold without having repped with the ones as the game's presumed starter. OK, such is the life of the backup. And obviously, he is a work in progress. But you cannot say with certainty that he would have played the rest of the game exactly as his first few possessions leading into halftime had Sark chosen to keep him in the game coming out of it. That is pure speculation being asserted by many of you. He may well have adjusted, settled in and found his sea legs so to speak. Or possibly not. But don't pretend like it's a given that he wouldn't of and possibly made a better game of it. He's a competitor, Sark would have been coaching him and his ability to extend plays are pluses that can't be so easily discounted.
  4. Was pulling for Cook to develop. Too bad he didn't get after it the way Moore did. The picture sure changed for those two.
  5. I think the crux of the matter is poise and let's just omit the word pocket. It's not where it should be in year three. Pointing this out isn't shitting on Quinn and yes this overall game was great for us, but the concern is legitimate against better teams who can bring greater pressure and whose offenses can put us in a hole while ours languishes. Hopefully, this game helped to right his rudder going forward. Likewise, the OL needs to get better. We have some dudes with high ratings that get discombobulated too often in pass pro. Namely, Williams and Campbell.
  6. No. Georgia isn't either. But that doesn't stop some sports writers and commentators from referring to them as such.
  7. Nice drive.
  8. He showed he's a good inside runner early on this season. He just needs to continue developing his pass and ball protection.
  9. So long as he learns to protect the ball. He needs to put in some serious work on that. Stan Drayton was much better at coaching ball protection than Tashard Choice.
  10. Followed by a fumble ... fortunately recovered.
  11. They Have good RBs They've also had some good holes to work with.
  12. He's great when he makes the right play, but he's boneheaded with poor run fits. He often shoots the wrong gap and get's needlessly tied up with OL and gives up runs. Leona Lefau has developed and makes smart plays.
  13. A total shut out would be embarassing too and let's be real. Florida has no chance at this point to make a comeback. Napier picked his poison and will hope to get more on the board in time remaining.
  14. Chance to see Goosby play and whether he can settle in/adjust with live snaps. Good opportunity for development here.
  15. It's shown weakness long before this game. But overall, the defense tends to get the job done. Not disagreeing with you at all here.
  16. I likes Mr. army_gator03's attitude.
  17. Can't agree. Everyone can have some bobbles and he's played pretty solid this season overall.
