  1. In fairness, he lives in the valley and their HS teams suck. He rarely sees good TXHSFB
  2. Colt was interviewed recently and said he has no interest in coaching. He enjoys being a dad to his 4 kids.
  3. Do you mean what Lagway did for UF yesterday?
  4. What's with all the cookies and Reese's Pieces?
  5. Fuck that Put Neto in to fight with the okies. At least that will be entertaining and maybe light a fire under our asses.
  6. 11 rushes for 15 yards won't beat many teams. UF d-line was able to tee off on Arch, but he hung in there. LG and C were the biggest problems yesterday
  7. I spent most of the game yelling at the TV yesterday, "Get rid of it!" or "Run it, Arch!"
  8. A few people have asserted that he makes up his mind where he's going with the ball before the snap and waits for that receiver to come open. This is probably happening, too, at times. I'm just wondering why we appear to have given up on RPOs. Does Arch not read these plays well either?
  9. Progressions are usually read high to low, deep to short. Right now, IDK if I'd trust Arch to make it to a 3rd read, especially with the O-Line's issues.
  10. This didn't happen. Where are you seeing anything about UT taking a train to Gainesville?
  11. Both Stroh and Hutson keep getting worse, which I didn't think was possible. Stroh leans too much and gets out over his feet after first contact. Hutson doesn't anchor in pass pro. I'm glad we finally replaced Stroh, but is a true freshman really our best option? PFF grade says Brooks sucked, too.
  12. You'd think Sark would've spent the bye week doing this, but you'd be wrong. Sark is gonna prove his system works come hell or high water.
  13. You're not wrong to make this assumption with 2 weeks to prepare for the Gators. But, you are a lot like this guy. A fuckin' jinx
  14. Yeah, I'm not sure I wanna know about @Chooky's hobbies or what he does for fun.
  15. A coach has to build his playbook and game plan around what his players do well, or he has to recruit players to his system. I don't know WTF we're thinking right now. Ultimately, that's on Sark.
  16. I won't. The 17-minute "highlights" were more than I can take. Sark got out-coached by Sunbelt Billy, too. Lagway executed what they wanted to do on offense - quick throws.
  17. We're all enamored with Arch's pedigree, physical presence, and athletic ability. He makes some amazing plays occasionally, but how many were because he threw a pass on time, in rhythm from the pocket? Not often. That's what Sark expects from his QBs, and thus far Arch hasn't proven he can do it well.
  18. Yep It's tough to hit throws over the middle with A-gap pressure in your face constantly. Except maybe quick slants, which we should do more of. And what about some "hide" routes for the RBs?
  19. Hey, I'm glad Flood can train goliaths to move stationary targets. But, why isn't the current OL "dipping their hips" and striking low to high? IMO, Nick Townsend is our best blocking TE, but he's only listed at 6'3", 241 lbs. That ain't nearly big enough. But, I agree with trying multiple combinations of OL to see which guys work best together.
  20. I mean, it's gotta be difficult to process the mesh and over-the-middle options quickly with so much A gap pressure Arch is facing. But, here we roll him out with a perfectly schemed throw to the flat, and he's still holding on way too long.
  21. He's good, but Mosley was open a bunch yesterday. Arch just didn't see him often enough.
  22. I re-watched that play. He double-pumped (triple???) it and almost let the CB #25 break up the pass, he was so late. Timing was just awful. High school QBs can execute that throw better.
  23. I'll start by watching the highlights, but I'm afraid re-watching the entire game will be too disappointing. And then, depression sets in.
  24. Which unit was worse yesterday? OL or DL? I'm not surprised the offense struggled in that environment. I'm shocked UF was able to impose its will in the running game, especially in the 1st Half. Of course, the offense's struggles made things harder on the defense bc they're on the field too long. It was an embarrassing overall performance with 2 weeks of preparation.
