  1. I don't know how 73 is horrible, when it was a lot lower than that, as well as others, against OSU.
  2. I hope all you DFW people show up in full force tonight!!
  3. I think that's a bullshit, childish response. She never asked for the prof to be fired so why would anyone but a stupid aggy bring it up? He should have told her this is what the syllabus description. This is what the prof is going to teach. This is departmental policy. This is school policy. If you don't like it, you can go to school at a different school.
  4. Since THX thought this would be the best demonstration of their speaker technology, I think it can be included.
  5. As any BMW enthusiast will tell you though, BMW numbers are not Mazda/Toy/Hon/US numbers. The N54 only claims 300 hp, but tuner dynos show it making more HP stock than the Mazda 3.3's 340 hp. And the BMW claims 382 hp for the B58 (2 generations from the N54) but some people have gotten over 400 stock. That's generally the case comparing US/JAP/KOR to Euro cars, but BMW under rates even more than the other Euro's. A B58 actually making 400 hp at 3.0L compared to a Mazda 3.3L actually making 271 is a huge difference. If you want to win a drag against a BMW, you better have 100+ more claimed HP. But I sure do wish they would put that 3.3 in the Miata, or even the 2.5 Turbo.
  6. Well, duh!! Take it to where it belongs.
  7. What are the OL grades for their OL? It could be better than our experienced OL. I expect it to be like the OSU game, but with them having more downfield passing game. Again, the team with the fewest turnovers/penalties will likely win and that isn't favoring Texas at this point.
  8. And the safety was coming over so it could have been knocked down or intercepted. The safety fell down so we don't know where he would've ended up. He put the ball in the right place.
  9. Surly posters are so amazing they can live inside another person's body and feel everything the other person feels.
  10. Campbell is a whiney douche. I certainly wouldn't want him at Texas.
  11. Arch has a big Dick problem. Every time he throws a football his Dick hurts like hell. Gonna hafta be amputated.
  12. Damn, can't believe Texas finally started attacking again. Looked like they forgot how. And Cari needed to get more sets, she was hitting the best. And how did the student section get so ugly since I was in school?
  13. It was only +1, a roughing the punter is a turnover even though it isn't counted as one. I certainly have a lot of concerns too. Simmons needs to be benched against the cupcakes until he can prove he can play without committing stupid penalties. And, penalties 😬, roughing the punter will cost Texas a game. The OL can't run block worth a shit. Clark just didn't show any talent, and even coming back from the injury he should look better than Kyle F'ing Porter. Gibson looks like the most talented back, but can't hold on to the ball. Although I don't know why Sark didn't give Shipley a chance to make a long FG. I agree running a 12 may be best, most talent at TE, even if Moore doesn't miss any games. But Texas isn't running the ball against blowu unless the OL improves significantly. And finally, that Livingstone guy needs to be benched. Can't even outrun a bunch of slow 4.8 DB's from the MWC.
  14. Trey Owens should starts
  15. Those charts are disgusting, but not necessarily surprising. CONCLUSION: It's despicable that with the talent Texas has and a coach that's supposed to be an offensive guru Texas shows so poorly. Sark should get a D- in the thing he's supposed to be really good at.
  16. I actually find it mind boggling. And that's even worse.
  17. Its amazing how someone can go from the biggest dumbass in football to the Einstein of football in a week. Pat McAfee on X: ""Matt Patricia totally bamboozled Arch Manning and Steve Sarkisian.. Ohio State did an incredible job of not giving their defense away" ~ @BruceArians #PMSLive https://t.co/r7fVnK7Ef4" / X
  18. It's no different than another coach we had that recruited very well. Fortunately for him the best QB in the history of college FB fell into his lap. I doubt another VY walks through the door at Belmont in my lifetime. Sark, just like Mack, is too stubborn to self-analyze and make the chances necessary that will continue to keep him from beating the Day's and the Smart's. The only hope is CDC steps in and shows him what other coaches are seeing and makes him make critical strategic changes, and that's not likely.
  19. Arch has a reason to get a Mulligan, Sark does not. This wasn't his first rodeo against a highly talented team. "After thinking about it I would've xxxxxx" is not good coaching.
  20. I wasn't as pissed at Sark for going for it as the play call. Arch may be bigger and stronger than Quinn, but he's not going to plow through 2 LB's set up behind the DT's. When is the last time Texas had an OL that could move a good DL off the ball when they can see what's coming? I certainly can't remember. You have to spread it out and hit the open gap. There will be a gap if you spread it out like OSU did, even if it's a small gap. Baxter can get 1 yard in a small gap. And analytics are stupid ass when what you do well against what the opponent does well aren't part of the formula.
  21. I'm going to speculate that Quinn and Arch have a similar psychological makeup. They want to do well so bad the pressure overwhelms them causing them to freeze up, and just the opposite happens because their body is shaking. Some people have issues developed as children that 15-20 years to overcome even with counseling. It takes time and I don't blame Sark for that, IF it is an issue. A precision game requires total relaxation, just like golfing. Playing QB not like playing OL where you just just go all out physically and try to knock the other guy on his ass. Something is amiss because we know Arch has the arm talent, he's shown it. I think once Arch has some success and gains confidence he will be fine. And, as Sark said, he does better after he's been hit. Getting hit definitely knocks off some nerves.
  22. There are plenty of rankings and so called experts that were saying Texas has more talent than OSU. And the ESPN power index had Texas at 53%, and that's on the road. It would've been nearly 60% at home. How many people posting here picked OSU? I think myself and about 2 others, that's it. In fact someone posted that something like 98% of Texas fans picked Texas, but only 90% of OSU fans so that means Texas has the better chance to win. To be honest, I'm not sure at this point if I could pick who has the most talent, but I'm pretty damn sure who has the better coaching staff. Thank God at least we have coach K.
  23. I don't like Trailer either, but I loved the way he used misdirection, redirection, momentum, creating space to take advantage of an aggressive defense and get them out of position. Despite not much talent, UTSA was fun to watch. There was absolutely none of that from Sark. It was like watching GDGD again. It's absurd our OC get's schooled by coaches making 1/10 as much.
