  1. I uploaded it to Surly. I think you can download but not sure if it can be linked.
  2. Put together a highlight reel for Arch's 2024 season. Hopefully we can add stuff from the playoffs. arch season highlights.mp4
  3. No, I don't think he's self sabotaging. I agree with your second sentence.
  4. The logic works. He just doesn't want to bench a 3 year starter that has led us to 11 wins so far. Sark has had a succession plan for awhile and wants to stick to it.
  5. Momentum is very real and very important in these big SEC matchups. Watching their games over the years, Kirby and Saban are so cognizant and intentional to gain momentum or steal it back. Kirby knew Texas took back the momentum after we tied it up at 13. The fake punt was a necessary risk, he had to get momentum back right there. It's a killer instinct that Sark needs to develop. I was just thinking about the 1st play of overtime where Arch came in. That was a holy shit! moment in a good way. Bam, run for 5 yards. Imagine if Sark had the stones to leave him in. Run it again. Then run it again. Maybe pass, or just run it again. Just Wild Arch are way into the endzone. It would have been epic and on par with some of the ballsy decisions we've seen in SEC games over the years.
  6. We're just talking in circles, man. If the goal was to establish a running game from the start, who knows what would have happened. Maybe we go 3 and out. Maybe Wisner fumbles. Maybe he breaks one and gives the o-line some early confidence. In the end, it doesn't matter now. We decided to put the game in Quinn's hands. I think he flashed enough to give us a chance to win in the end. Didn't happen. We move on.
  7. I'm specifically talking to start the game. I wasn't begging for running calls in the 2nd half. We needed to throw to move the ball.
  8. You're cherry picking drives. Our 3rd drive of the game started with a 5 yard run and then a 10 yard run with Wisner. I brought up the first drive for a reason, as it is scripted. I'm not saying we should have pounded the ball. It was TOUGH sledding out there. But when you say we've found an identity in the run game, then come out throwing on 6 of the first 7 plays (like we seemingly do a lot), you're not trying to establish a run game at the outset.
  9. Sark just loves to come out passing no matter what. First drive - - Pass - Pass - Pass - Pass - Sack - Run (on 2nd and 11) - INT
  10. This stuff is so funny. BTW, thank God for Ewers that our defense stopped A&M at the 1 yard line last week. If they score to make it 17-14, even if we win there would have been a ton more heat on Quinn heading into this week. Ignore the bad shit in wins, focus on the good shit in losses...the life of a Longhorn sunshine pumper.
  11. We were told there would be no brakes.
  12. I appreciate him vocalizing it, but it's very frustrating to hear anyways. Sark needs to throw out any concerns about the QB situation and do whatever it takes to win. Treat every game as its own entity. FWIW, over Thanksgiving weekend I was talking to a friend of a friend who has a kid that is a scholarship offensive player at Texas. The kid said Arch tears it up in practice and makes eye opening plays on a daily basis. That's not an indictment on Quinn in any way, just a heads up for those that assume Arch must be struggling in practice and that being the reason he isn't playing more.
  13. Yep, looks like another ACL. Hopefully not, but brutal anyways.
  14. Last night was an opportunity to get some back. He already lost most of the coin.
  15. It's a bad throw. Poor mechanics due to anticipating a hit, short arms it, ball comes out off target and without enough zip. We aren't playing the Texas Techs of the world anymore. It's not, but that's more of an indictment on Texas QBs over the years.
  16. I think he just wanted a manageable 2nd down to start the series and he knew an Arch run was the safest way to do it.
  17. Yep, bad throw. And look at him anticipating contact that fucks up his mechanics too. Poor play by Bond, but in film study that fuckup is on Quinn.
  18. I have no what the actual dynamics are, but Sark's handling of Quinn mentally just hasn't worked out IMO. The reality is Quinn has played a lot worse in games we won than he did tonight, but few people really bitched about it then and it doesn't look like Sark really addressed it either. The 9.95ers at OTF (mainly Gerry,Shipley, Coach Erwin) have been biting their tongues about Quinn since he returned from injury. You can tell they all think he's not getting it done, but tough to say anything when Texas continued to stack wins. Will be interesting to see what they say this week, especially considering Quinn wasn't the biggest issue tonight. The footwork and fundamentals with Quinn continue to be an issue in Year 3, and it's unacceptable. Is his QB trainer still heavily involved with him during the season? Why hasn't that stuff improved under Sark and Milwee? Why can't Quinn rip it when needed? Why are there clear mental blocks 30+ games into his career? Sark did everything in his power to cater to Quinn this year. After 2 UGA losses and below average performances offensively in many other games, let's please move forward doing everything we can to win a NC.
  19. Maybe don't do that right now, lol.
  20. The reality is Sark's offense with Quinn has never been consistently good enough. We underperform the majority of the time. It feels like things have to go perfectly in order to score at a high rate and reach the potential that is there. Sark has curated his offense so specifically to Quinn's "strengths" that we can't turn on a switch and get things humming when needed. Sark fell back into his typical offensive playcalling for Quinn at a time we needed to not fuck around and just sling it down the field. Hoping for the best in the playoffs but can't wait to get out of this finesse bullshit next year.
  21. I hope more than anything we figure this shit out in the playoffs and win it all. But a lot of these issues go away next year with Arch at the helm. Will be a different offense that won't need perfection to score a lot of of points.
  22. Do not blame the defense for a goddamned thing. The defense is what has kept Quinn in the starting lineup all year and kept Sark from having to make a change.
  23. We've all watched Bama and UGA in these SEC championship and NC games for years. These tight games are always decided by a HC making ballsy, aggressive calls to find a way to win. Kirby did it with the fake punt today. Momentum is EVERYTHING, whether it's stopping it or gaining it. I hope Sark looks within and adjusts accordingly.
