  1. Took second in the quarter a short time later running 46.3. Someone mentioned the freshman who finished 4th at 10.17, but don't forget that another freshman finished 5th and broker 10.2 as well. Does anyone know what happened to the runner out of Boerne (believe it was Champion) who won the 3200 by a ridiculous margin running 10:11 and then she ran in the Olympic trials, but I saw she didn't run this spring?
  2. All good and I think they found something that other teams weren't able to take advantage earlier and teams aren't going to spend the resources in the last year of this car when they have the new rides coming out next year. That pretty much leaves other teams crying to the rule makers to take away the advantage when they should be rewarding teams for pushing the envelope on engineering. Reminds me of when Merc came out with the DAS system that gave them an advantage in qualifying and Red Bull said it was no big deal, couldn't replicate it, and whined and complained to get it banned.
  3. She is banging a waitress that works at a Perkins?
  4. The biggest concern is guy who won't compete, that isn't about experience, that is based upon what you have inside of you. Terrible cliche', but you either are willing to fight or you won't and that is my biggest concern about players such as Jalen and Jabari. How in the world does anyone take Jalen seriously when multiple times this series he says after a game he has to be better only to piss down his leg the next game. Don't get me started on Jabari and Alpi shooting fade aways over shorter players.
  5. Brawn in his book talks about finding a reg that you interpret a certain way to gain an advantage and you keep pushing that advantage until they finally take it away from you. I can't remember the exact wording he uses, but he fully acknowledges they weren't afraid to work in the grey areas.
  6. Amazing turn around for McLaren, especially when you consider that in 2023 at Miam Lando finished 17th in the race and was over 87 seconds off Max and Oscar finished 19th between Nick DeVries and Logan Sargent,
  7. Has sat courtside at Lakers and Clippers games for years and travels around for other NBA games. I can't remember his name, but supposedly made a great deal of money in real estate out in SoCal.
  8. If Max falls behind George in the drivers' standings is that enough to trigger the out clause in Max's contract with Red Bull?
  9. The rest of the teams are praying the changes on the front wings do truly impact McLaren because no one is close to that car right now. Oscar doesn't seemed fazed at all by Max. Watched, learned, set him up for the pass while Lando just about breaks out in hives if he gets near Max on the track.
  10. My comment wasn't directed at Max as he did what he was directed, but the pit crew and Lawson.
  11. Dumbass doesn't realize that if you are a Brown's quarterback who is really trying to show your wealth and status you tweet from Italy during the season.
  12. The guy does nothing wrong, actually does an incredible job of not crashing both of them out after the Red Bull fuck up and it ends up costing him. Not as bad as Fernando, but there has to be some way to penalize the perps far worse than 5 or 10 seconds when you completely fuck over someone's race due to your (or your team's ) dumbarse decision.
  13. Red Bull has gone from being the absolute bests in the pits to a shitshow. Which happens first for them? They end a driver's race by stripping the nuts trying to change a tire similar to Merc and Bottas or one of their drivers loses a tire after a stop because they don't get things on right?
  14. I am not sure what the answer is to fix the problem, but the crashed caused by Lawson ramming Fernando could make it difficult for Alonso to make it to qualifying. Do you put him at the back of the pack with the guy he wrecked out if AM can't get the car fixed in time? I realize things are going to happen in racing, but that was just a completely dumb arse decision.
  15. I realize that the teams like to take on the traits of the locations of the race and demolition derbies are big in the south, but someone needs to settled down Red Bull and RBR. Holy shit the pit release was bad, but Lawson ramming Fernando might have been worse.
  16. How the fuck do they let the race go that long with all that debris and how in the world is it taking the stewards this long to address the Red Bull release of Max into Kimi?
  17. While there aren't thousands of the average people staying in tents on the hillside, it is F1 so when don't you have those things at any race?
  18. You have to love Kimi's reaction. I found it funny they had to keep him from leaving so he could do the interview.
  19. Agreed, though some prefer the scenic views from a parking lot with an elevation change of maybe 10' over a classic track cut through the hills of Belgium.
  20. That or he is the only one at AM who knew how to turn the thing on.
  21. See, I would have expected Chris to tell Sanders this is why you always have a fall guy.
  22. I know many are waiting for the flexiwing for Red Bull, but are there other upgrades that have been rumored for the other teams aside from AM who basically have given up on this year?
  23. Good question, I am not sure, but they go along side Ron Dayne in the Texans Hall of Infamy for ending a promising young players career by destroying their knee with friendly fire.
  24. I trust John Harris opinions and while he did said it was his belief that the kid from USC was the best receiving back in the draft what really was the reason why he loved the pick was the kids character and toughness. That last one is something I don't recall hearing frequently mentioned with Blue and that goes back to his days at Klein Cain. Know someone in fact who was involved at the infamous track meet that set things in motion for Blue to skip his senior season. They have nothing, but great things to say about Golden and not much to say about Blue. Not bad things, but they never felt Jayden was thinking about much beyond how things impacted himself. Some can down vote me all you want, but ask yourself this, when Texas absolutely had to put the ball in the hands of a back to make a big play who was it? Who did Sark and the staff trust in the biggest moments? Blue is a very fast running back with talent who averaged 9 carries a game this year and less than 50 yards a game. This was the first year he ever totaled over 1,000 yards in total offense and that was in 15 games. I know some wanted to compare him to Gibbs of Detroit, but the guy he reminds me the most is Michael Goodson. I saw both in high school and they were incredibly talented, but it always felt there was something missing. As far as your comments on the rest of the draft, the OT from Minnesota most likely will get at look at guard. Tunsil did so his first year at Miami and said it was a great learning experience. If the kid is one of their five best they will do it. The two ISU receivers are very good and the slot receiver is important with Tank basically being gone for the year and most likely done with that injury.
