  1. Libertarian?
  2. Good thing I'm a member of the "I'm an Alcoholic" thread and lifestyle.
  3. Deadwood the movie. Was nice to see the characters again, but it didn't do much for me.
  4. 1) I'm thankful that I live in the sticks. Doesn't mean that my kids are/will be void of these opportunities, but it's nothing like an urban area. 2) I agree with what everyone has said about social media vs. when we were growing up in the 80s/90s (DOB 81). We did stupid shit and moved on. I loathe social media. My wife and I don't allow our oldest to have SnapChat, and we're unapologetic about it. I don't care that "everyone else has it." There will come a day when she gets it, but 13 yo isn't that day.
  5. Spiderman into the Spiderverse was very enjoyable. Kids and I liked it, and the soundtrack is a nice CLEAN mix of hip-hop that I don't mind listening to with the kids.
  6. Had Wagyu beef (Kobe) tonight for the first time. Wife and I went to a "farm to plate" restaurant in Indiana. Un-freaking-believable. Everything that we ate was incredible. We started with a cheese and meat plate. Everything in their restaurant is made fresh, all farm to plate from their gardens.
  7. Is that Aaron Rodgers?
  8. Why does this happen so often?
  9. Minus the bought out part, "Paul to the Lakers" is where my mind immediately went. As well as Melo. I envision that to be their future destination.
  10. I read/heard somewhere that they actually get a greater percentage of profits than men do. It's just that their profits are shit.
  11. Favoring one is not synonymous with hating one.
  12. I have two daughters. My oldest is a clone of her mother, and my youngest is a lot more like me. I love them both dearly, but I understand what others say when mentioning "favorites." I don't want to have a favorite; I don't try to have a favorite... it unfortunately almost comes natural. Parents - I love mine, and my wife always finds shit to nit-pick about them. Drives me nuts, b/c I am an extremely loving and easy going person, and I could never imagine in a million years finding reasons to not be around her family. My brother used to be quite the asshole, but has since grown up. Throughout our life we have said various things to each other that have made it hard to have a normal relationship. We're just fine when we are together, but we each live our separate lives. If I were to do it all over again, I would have done everything I could to have him as a best friend.
  13. Tapa fucking sucks. Tapa, not surly tapa. All for the sake of "updating tech," they went from a very user friendly app to a fucking shit fire.
  14. She needs shit done yesterday, but she'll get to it tomorrow.
  15. Subscribed threads back to borked.
  16. Last two days I've spent 8+ hours outside doing shit. Lawn, trim, weeding, tractor stuff, changing oil, etc. Have also done my fair share of inside chores. Dishes, laundry (shut up), bed, swept, etc. Today I come inside and see a towel sitting on the living room carpet. M - "What's this?" W - "Oh, I spilled my drink." M - "Was it just water?" W - "No, it was Pepsi." M - "Did you put any carpet stuff on it?" W - "no." M - goes and gets carpet stuff, lays it on dining room chair where she and daughter were sitting. Carry on. FFW a couple hours. I've been relaxing for some time because, well, I earned it. M - "Did you happen to put any stuff on that?" W - "No. I mean, you could have done it! I'd love to just sit here and do nothing." M - "Um..."
  17. I'm loving everything about this. I'm a Lebron fan, but Kawhi to Lakers just makes everything too easy. I'm loving the look of the NBA next year.
