I don't think highly of Rudy Giuliani, but I never thought he was stupid. This is bizarre.
Trump has an uncanny ability to bring out a person's inner retard. It's like Gandalf's exorcism of Theoden in reverse.

It’s that and the idea of pledging allegiance to a “flag” which can represent whatever someone wants it to. I’d rather pledge allegiance to “liberty and justice for all” than a flag.
The flag worship stuff is why I’m not a fan of the SSB.
Flags/symbols can be easily manipulated by bad actors.
Ideas like liberty, freedom, and justice are less easy to undermine.
Just a heads up. Do not express this opinion at a Scout meeting. I did and people looked at me with the biggest "WTF?" look. The Boy Scouts love reciting pledges.

This show is kicking ass. So much to like about it. The drama feels authentic which is a great setup for the comedic moments. Barry playing the straight man works perfectly with all of the absurdity that surrounds him. The Fonz and Root brought their A game.
The dinner "date" with the detective has been my favorite scene so far. Their bizarre flirtation killed me.
Baldy is a good character too but I think he is dead now.

I have a consulting business that specializes in building out DFIR (Digital Forensics/Incident Response) programs for companies. The bulk of the work consists of configuring all of the security tools to learn all of the normal behavior that occurs between users and the various systems on the network. This is a very time intensive process that generates a lot of billable hours.
I also run a security program for a large cloud company. Last year while working at a different cloud company, I was part of a proof of concept project with a third party partner that was testing a new security product that automatically builds a DFIR system using A.I.
Going into the project I was skeptical but after it normalized network, system, and user behavior and detected anomalous behavior on a 30,000 node environment within 90 minutes without any human instructions, I was blown away.
The world as we know it is coming to an end. Automation will replace both low and high skilled workers.

30 years ago, I was in middle school but yeah you needed to go out of your way to have a run in with the gender studies crowd on campus. It's not like they tracked you down to bitch about the patriarchy. Although there was this one cute granola girl that used to touch my arm gently and say, "f250 that isn't very PC" whenever I was talking shit. Looking back on it, I am pretty sure our back and forth was a form of foreplay. Our disagreements were just away to interact with each other when we first met.

Someone please rent Hugo a copy of Blood in Blood out and American Me. He needs to be educated about life in "La Pinta."

So does this mean Trump might not be 239 pounds?
That was one of the more entertaining lies. The dude is clearly over 300 pounds but his supporters defended the claim.

Can we trade tigerdroppings hugo for rocko and a poster to be named later?
Did the trade actually happen because Rocko's presence on Surly has been minimal?

Jesus also told his disciples to sell their cloak and buy a sword if they didn't already have one during the last supper. But it's all the rage these days to only quote the stuff that makes Jesus sound more like you want him to sound.
Quoted for irony.

Might have something to do with Jordan's bid for house speaker.

I don't know, it sounds like the back-benchers are doing this. would these Freedom Caucus fuckers be anything in their party without Trump? Aside from disruptors, they can't expect leading roles. These are the guys that are committed to Trump and some are in his inner circle. I don't know why the rest of the Republicans don't pound them into submission but it may be too late.
The Freedom Caucus has been the only part of the Republican party that has actively disrupted the Trump agenda in Congress.

The Pope says a lot of crazy shit. Well, maybe it isn't so crazy.
https://www.franciscanmedia.org/peace-dialogue-held-hostage-by-nuclear-weapons-threat-pope-says/
Pope Francis told the group that the “essential” witness of survivors of the bombings in Japan as well as those suffering the effects of nuclear weapons testing are prophetic voices that serve “as a warning, above all for coming generations.”
In his speech, the pope said that when it comes to the ideal of a nuclear-free world, a “certain pessimism” exists and brings with it “considerable expense” as nations modernize their nuclear arsenals.
“As a result, the real priorities facing our human family, such as the fight against poverty, the promotion of peace, the undertaking of educational, ecological and health care projects, and the development of human rights, are relegated to second place,” he said.

If anyone is watching Fear the Walking Desd, that was, um, quite shocking.
That caught me off guard but it also felt unnecessary.

It has actually gotten better. Last season of FTWD was better than season 7 and season 8 of TWD, IMHO. I'm looking forward to Morgan moving to Texas and setting up down the road at the Dell Diamond.
Last season of FTWD was much better than TWD. This season feels a little too much like the silliness of TWD is bleeding over.
Not a fan of the Austin Hippster Saviors laying siege to Dell Diamond in a millennial manner.
I really enjoyed the story between the white survivalists and Native Americans reclaiming their land last season. The Cartel story with Daniel was pretty good too.

May day, an international holiday that originated with the U.S. labor movement celebrated world wide except in the U.S. Thanks a lot Grover Cleveland, I get to pick up the slack for our German office today by starting my morning extra early.

How many other people were thinking there was an underground bunker when they found the empty spot? I was waiting for Tandy to accidentally find a hatch.

How about James Ho?
Nominating partisan and/or ideological hacks like this, regardless of their particular partisan or ideological alignment, does substantial damage to our judicial system. Nothing good can come of attempts to turn ideological screeds with no basis in law into legal precedent. We need look no further than Roberts' dicta in Northwest Austin, in which he essentially made up from whole cloth the "equal sovereignty doctrine" that he later used to justify his decision in Shelby County, to see the harms that result when judges abandon any pretense of being anything other than partisan actors.
As I said, I randomly pulled three names from the list and none were controversial. Would you say that the majority of the nominees are similar to James Ho or more similar to the 3 nominees I posted?
I don't know the answer and I really am curious if most of the nominations are decent nominations with a handful of ideologically slanted picks.
I get that Trump is a crooked fuck that would sell a nomination, so his picks shouldn't be trusted but I also don't think Trump is actually picking all of these people.

I'm more likely to pick up Margot Robbie as a side piece while being in a committed relationship with Ana de Armas. Which is highly unlikely because I would be completely satisfied with Ana de Armas.

I randomly selected 3 nominations and was curious if they were unqualified right wing partisans. None of the 3 seem to meet that description. I am not going to go through all of them but I am guessing that the "unqualified right wing partisan" accusations is just a partisan justification for standard team politics.

The MasculineUT program seems to be geared at helping the guys that are vulnerable to the Red Pill movement. Which is probably a good thing because those guys are loons.
With that said, the "act like a man box" appears to be more of a caricature of notions of masculinity and should be renamed "act like an asshole box."

Yeah, this is straight out of a reality show format. Let the audience get a vote. He will eventually have a Twitter vote to get rid of Sessions. Retweet to fire or like to keep Jeff Sessions as Attorney General.
